Hi, please can anyone let me know if it's easy to use touch up 1 to 1 paint through an airbrush. This is the link http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/SCRATCH-REPAIR-Touch-up-Paint-for-a-BMW-Boston-Metallic-Green-275-/390640981045?nav=SEARCH I have an iwata airbrush with a 0.5 mm nozzle. My worry is that the flakes are too big and will get stuck. I'm also guessing that I'll have to thin it down with laquer thinner. Cheers!

Thanks for the comment Jonathan! It's been polished out a few times, the paint blemishes look like bubbles stuck in the paint, but as you can see, it doesn't turn out too bad in the photos. This was sanded using Tamiya sand paper, polished using Novous 3 stage compounds - for stage 1 I used a dremel, it made a chuffing mess everywhere, but the results are great...

Wow, great model, coming along nicely. I guess this is a 1:24 scale? Also, what is your polish compound and method? I have used both Tamiya & Novous, and they never come out like that...

I am coming to the end of 2 of my current 3 unfinished builds. So I need to start 2 more, one of which will be this BMW by Fujimi. It's an old kit, but was re-issued recently, and can be bought for not much, I think tis was about a tenner a few years ago. It's really simple, curb side, and not much detail. The energy here is in the body & interior. I will be doing a completely OOB build, the only additions if I feel up to it, will be flocking and seatbelts. I wanted to do this in the medium metallic green exterior colour, however, I haven't found a good match, so the exterior will be black & interior with be blue. Here are some sprue shots...

Masked & painted the black part of the body. I won't be doing both X1 & X18 (part gloss, part semi-gloss black), as it's tedious, I just did it all in X-18 Semi-gloss. Not long to go now....

Interior Complete, now time to finesse that exterior...
