  1. +100 Joseph is as solid & professional as it gets guys, buy with confidence! & lots!
  2. Clean build, looks great!
  3. Nice score, the build is looking great!
  4. Steve, do you use the bristle brush to paint the resin into crevices, or to poke away at the resin as it fills, so to release air bubbles? Just wondering your technique there?
  5. Nicely done Ken, looks great, doesn't even need clear coat, the shine from polishing alone looks great!
  6. LOL here's mine built many years ago, pulled it out recently to dust off, before giving away to my nephew, for his new big boy room! Radiator cover looks weirdly discoloured in picture?
  7. Austin, what mold release agents are you using now? Try dusting with baby powder, I find it works much better over the spray mold release agents The above suggestions are all good ones, another is what does your mold look like? Maybe post a photo for us The reason being, is in my own trial&error, learning that the initial mold design makes ALL the difference in the world too, and perhaps some improvements there might help you also I'm by no means an expert, in fact I am working on my skills now to get components reliably resin cast, and it's more work than many people think For example, I continue to copy photos from online, and ask questions about method & materials specifically, to increase my own learning, the pics I can go back a look at often to help improve my own techniques
  8. Nice work Ken, looks great!
  9. Most likely, when Internet Explorer updates (like to 11), then all the settings are returned back to default, and so you have to go back and make the changes over again, like selecting the CVS being mentioned, and explains why some experience things "on & off" again "Tools" - "Compatibility View Settings" - "Add" - "Close"
  10. Fantastic result, very nicely done, bravo!!
  11. That looks bad-ass, well done!!
  12. That white & blue version, with wing, looks great! Looking forward to seeing what you end up deciding upon Ray!
  13. Looks great Colin, bravo!! and welcome!
  14. Great looking kit, those C1 kits are NOT cheap! This is my current favorite RWB car
  15. Wow, aggressive, but I don't do internet arguing It's an idea, for the reasons stated, would be easy to try, and benefit, or not, what ever
  16. No, that misses the entire point, making a simple sticky (pinned) thread is virtually no effort at all for us to try out Disappointing that can't simply be tried, for those of us who have responded favorably for it
  17. Your absolutely right Erik! Thanks
  18. Casey, just a simple thread made as a sticky (pinned), we'll title something simple like "Canadian Trades Thread", and from there let it live, a simple easy to see single thread that Canadian members easily find (even for those unaware at first) & can post 'trades' in, following the same rules of course, but instead of individual threads, will just be individual posts, all contained within that single thread, easy
  19. Cool coper car!!
  20. It's not an issue that's come up all of a sudden, just been a reality that the trades section is pretty much unusable for Canadians really, since so many US members don't wish to trade parts outside the 48, which due to cost of postage difference between states vs. between countries - even neighboring ones - is much more, and can't blame them for that Harry I've never seen people not at least see stickys, but I know what you mean about many not reading rules stickys etc. In this short thread there have been already 4 Canadian members saying they like the idea, so it would be great & cost nothing to give this a try
  21. Front windscreen base crafted, for recessed fitment of final part Test fitment with recessed windscreen in place, and center roof section, shows rear buttress height needing to be raised for proper roof angle to result Rear buttress channeled, and styrene added to build up height Modified rear buttress filled and sanded to shape
  22. True, shipping has been going up lately, and honestly I like the idea of trades interactions, but the cross border issue shipping is the problem Hopefully we can get as a sticky, then for any new forum members, or other who didn't know about it before, would be able to easily see the sticky and immediately know it applies to them, and not have it become otherwise lost if inactive for any period of time in between
  23. And not have to read through every trade posted, to learn if says "lower 48 only" or "Canada only", that'd be a huge waste of time, a simple sticky makes life easier for that purpose and those interested
  24. Here's a suggestion for the Trading Post section, perhaps a sticky thread, titled for Canadian forum members If just a thread un-sticky will get lost as inactive, but reason for being is that most cross border "trades" are just not feasible or possible or desired for many forum members, either in US or Canada, shipping being the main issue & cost Thanks
  25. Clean build, looks great!!
