  17. At the bench today working on my other project, the Chevy Nova, so got a couple of bits done for the Falcon too. Using photo-reduced images of the Racepak dashboard unit and the MSD ignition module, I glued them to plastic sheet. Pics show finished Racepak unit and the MSD module tops glued onto 5 layers of 0.5mm sheets to make the 2.5 inch scale thickness of the unit. Next session, I'll cut around the edges, then paint the units red and add the wiring harnesses. As always, comments most welcome. Cheers for now...... Geoff
  18. Thanks Snake. More time at the bench today preparing a few bits and pieces. Used my photo-reducing method and printed up the Edelbrock valve covers. Other images in pic are MSD ignition modules and Racepak dashboard faces for my other project, the Kaufman Falcon. Cut the images out and glued them to the tops of the valve covers, then painted the units with aluminium paint. Then sat them on the engine to check the look. Happy with them!! Heading to hobby shop tomorrow for super glue and zapper, and some fresh putty. As always, comments most welcome. Cheers.... Geoff
  19. Thanks Guys, I appreciate your feedback. Just spurs me on to get this done and make the new owners happy with the result!! Cheers.....Geoff

  25. Thanks Peter, yeah I'm glad that bit is over too!! It ended up better than I thought it would. I think the old adage "measure twice, cut once" helped me through.... :)) Thanks Daniel. Still a bit more to go but hoping to have body in primer by next week. Thanks Dennis. The mods are strictly as per the real car, which is Australian-spec Historic Touring Car or Group N. Theses are log-booked cars that ran in the Australian Touring Car Championships, including Bathurst, from the early 1950's through to 1972. And many are still raced to this day, along with fresh builds that replicate those original cars. You can find out all about them at my club's website: htcav.com.au Cheers...... Geoff
