A beautiful, well-executed build of one of my favourite cars. With that color and those wheels, it has "the look". ?❤️

Back from a big weekend of historic Motorsport and thought it was time to get stuck into the Nova as I saw the owners of the car at the racetrack. Managed to get some primer on the body and can now see I still have a fair bit of filling and sanding to do. Also I still have the drip rails and rear window trim to go on. Finished reshaping the harness holes in the seats and shot them with primer. Then spent some time priming and painting the engine block in Tamiya French Blue and tried out the intake manifold and rocker covers to see how it would look. Yeah not bad. That's a really nice looking Vette. I did similar for a friend and work colleague many years ago with the Revell 69 427 Coupe. I replicated the all white exterior and black interior, including her custom plates. Mounted it in a display case with a small plaque. She was over the moon when I presented it to her. It gave me great pleasure to see her response. Doesn't it feel good doing something nice for our friends. Cheers..... Geoff
