  1. Nothing that couldn't be fixed with an Auto Cutter!
  2. J5 - '66 Charger, Polara convertible and Monaco.
  3. F1 - Jo-Han '61 Cadillac. G4 - Jo-Han '59 Cadillac.
  4. So... anyone have a Trumpeter Nova hardtop to compare to the Moebius and AMT kits for accuracy?
  5. Not bad! Does anyone make that '54 grille?
  6. Watch for the AMT model display featuring George Barris at 1:14:15, then stick around right after that for Dobie Gray's KILLER performance of the title song!
  7. I have an idea, but it's a bit involved (four pieces) - best for a casting master. You'd need: 1 wheelcover from the AMT Avanti 2 wheelcovers from the Lindberg/AMT '64 Belvedere 1 wheelcover from the AMT '69 Ford LTD Cut out the Avanti wheelcover like the one on the right: Take the center from one '64 Plymouth wheelcover and countersink it into the second so it's level with the cone: Cut down the combined Plymouth wheel until it fits into the Avanti rim. Lastly, cut the center emblem from a '69 Ford Galaxie and glue it to the center of the new cover. Quick-and-dirty version: Use the Plymouth wheelcovers as is and add the five slots with a fine black art pen, like a normal person would do.
  8. I'd think the Buick Skylark GS, being a muscle car, might stand a good chance as a reissue/recreation if Round2 put as much effort into it as they did with the Nova wagon. Maybe even base the chassis on the Lindberg 442 tooling?
  9. Here's the '73 Illinois license plate to get you started:
  10. patients resemble Picassos
  11. New one looks wider? Gerry, could you lay the '62 hood on the '63 body and vice versa? Curious to see how close they match.
  12. Hi Kelly! Similar setup is in the Jo-Han AMC Marlin kit, complete with steerable wheels; a bit tougher to find but keeps it in the family. They do get parted out on eBay now and then.
  13. Don't I wish . This was in Palm Desert, CA a couple weeks ago; the '75 Buick LeSabre convertible sold for $6000 - body, top and interior were OK but the 350 engine was a rat-eaten mess. The '69 Cougar Eliminator was a one-of-101 former Hertz Sports Car Club rental; all of those had a 351/FMX combo and sunroof. A bit worn but only 23k miles; they were asking $40,000 and it sold for $35k.
  14. Yes you should. Now and then something good turns up...
  15. Here you go, Monty: https://www.ebay.com/itm/334348604487
