I needed another project....T800
gotnitro? replied to gotnitro?'s topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Thanks Gary! I looked over your builds for inspiration Thanks for following along! @Rockford haha I've tried getting help for the addiction, but get drawn back in by shiny new kits -
I was staying pretty focused on my current build...then a huge box of plastic, rubber and resin arrived. I fought the squirrels off long enough, then caved in.. I'm building an Anteater T800, using all the updates I could source from plaskit, st supply and others. I'm planning a regular trailer, but adding a lift axle. Here's the pile so far, there will be more surprises along the way. Hopefully I'll stay focused on this build ! Any comments or suggestions welcome Jeff

Amazing work and love the color! I've used sponges inside cabins before to protect from overspray, but your method worked great

Tips for Repairing Broken Windshield Pillar
gotnitro? replied to In2Carz's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Similar to regular product. Apply the glue to the pillar, hold in place. Flip pen over where the light is..press a button to illuminate light holding it near the break...and it hardens the material. JB weld sells one also -
Tips for Repairing Broken Windshield Pillar
gotnitro? replied to In2Carz's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I'd repair the broken pillar w a UV glue pen. Tiny amount of glue, cure in seconds w UV light and done . Amazon sells them for around 5 dollars. I'm using one to repair 3d printed parts that normal " super glues" have difficulty bonding to, works excellent -
