  1. really looking forward to your progress !
  2. Looking forward to the C10, and whats in store for the Dodge truck fans
  3. Definitely a welcome cab ! Keep updating your progress Dave does offer the 9300 hood, I have one stashed for a future project.
  4. So glad the Duplicolor worked put for you ! Its my first line of defense working w resin parts. The primer might take a couple days to really cure, but my squirrels have enough projects going to allow me time lol Love the modern look of that hood, gonna be an awesome truck
  5. I've struggled w fisheyes on resin, no matter how much cleaning I've done. I spoke numerous times w Gary Wallace about it, and he always suggested Duplicolor sandable primer. Light coats then color. Its cut my issues in half Too bad you lost your cab, but having a backup plan keeps you moving.
  6. This build is finished ! I added a pogo w air hoses today, and used a few of the tribute decals around the truck. Gary was a huge WV fan, so I picked a decal to show that. My buddy just mentioned the 5th wheel was below the fenders...guess I'll add some taller mounts..good catch ! The outside Under glass photos will be added soon Thanks to everyone who commented on this build
  7. nice looking build ! These DM Macks really had a rugged look
  8. Thanks Dan! Yeah, he is missed. I look thru my collection, and smile when I realize nearly every build had parts Gary produced. Hard to believe its been nearly a year already since his sudden passing.
  9. Looking forward to your Mach 1 ! We have a newer version of the Mach. 2003 in Azure blue..fun cruiser
  10. Thanks ! Excellent job! Plenty of inspiration
  11. Thanks Warren ! Wknd update..the huge 12x24 wheels are painted and going on. I started fitting the details behind the cab. A spare hydro tank from Plow chaser fit perfectly for the era, some diamond plate decking, and of course the frame ramps. Thanks for following ?
  12. Looking good! The stance is just right If the mufflers aren't touching your not low enough lol
  13. 59 impala on the bench. Zman wheels fitting nice and low..going for scale finishes Aspen green and tuxedo black Testing the green ...perfect
  14. A sneak peek at what arrived from my buddy on the west coast for the Mack. These are just sitting against the axles, still need to be fit onto the axle mounts. The lowboy hauler theme is coming together. I found a pair of diamond plate fenders, and plan to use them. Toying idea of fabbing a hydraulic tank behind the cab, there's a large void I'd like to fill. Ramps should be added to the 5th wheel too Any feedback or comments welcome
  15. Duplicolor alpine green engine paint , big rattle can ! Its sprayed over tamiya gray primer.
  16. Thanks Joe for following along, hoping to have it done for Fulton. The tires shipped from the west coast, so progress is happening . I've had Joe print several decals for previous buids, glad to see he is part of this ! Thanks ! The yellow enamel is finally dry after a few days of high humidity. The glass and interior are installed, just waiting for some small parts I forgot to paint. Bare bones interior, just the way Mack built em
  17. The paint went down today! I wasn't sure what color I was using until I saw a photo of a different auctioned nysdot truck..and the plan was hashed. This will be a lowboy hauling tractor. Tamiya blue and Rustoleum sunburst yellow went down after a primer coat. The Mack letters in the grill surround might be yellow or steel like the grill bars..haven't decided. Thanks for looking!
