  1. Another option is stuff some tissue inside the tire making it bulge out against the rim, most of these older kits had sunken tires
  2. That'll turn heads at your local truck parade heck yeah
  3. Here's praying for a quick recovery
  4. Looking good so far Dan! I remember my dad constantly welding supports on their transporter at the Dodge dealer he worked for. Always amazed me watching the drivers unload the brand new vehicles off the upper decks
  5. Gage panel and hose bed looks fantastic
  6. Sorry for not updating the build, we've been making room for a saltwater aquarium and I've been buried building the stand. The only spot available was where my display cabinet resided..so everything was packed up.. I'll be back asap with more
  7. Sorry to hear about the broken arm, hopefully you'll heal quickly
  8. Excellent work! The little paint tweaks really stand out Earlier topic about the access door in the hood reminded me of our towns IH workstar

  11. https://andyshhq.com/search?q=mr+hobby+leveling+thinner This shop has been mentioned numerous times with it in stock, just passing it along
  12. Nicely done w the paint! The interior looks fantastic
  13. Small update today, couple parts I needed to build. Battery box and a couple diamond plate cab extensions to hide the peek thru underneath. Lastly the exhaust pipe w kit muffler Fired up the booth, airbrush and Alclad Airframe aluminum, and sprayed everything. I'm really starting to like this Alclad here's the other part of the exhaust painted Testors stainless steel Well..the rivalry is getting close to starting..more later Jeff
  14. Nice progress ! Your interior plan looks great, thats where I failed doing my build last yr. Couldn't wrap my head around fitting everything The baby blue looks great, might switch your wheel color to a silver tone though vs red
  15. Awesome looking Mack all mocked up!
  16. Thanks, I'll have to grab a bottle next time I order. There's definitely times when a rattle can is a better tool Thanks, it almost glows in the dark lol Temps have been barely above 0 in Central NY, and keeping the heat downstairs instead of my upstairs work bench has been priority w the boss...I'll have an update very soon
  17. Thanks! I haven't tried the spray yet, but heard it looks good
  18. @Scott Eriksen I have a resin one from Keystone before he closed down, there's a local fella casting them nearby if your interested in that route
  19. Clean work! Moving the firewall back would definitely add a few gray hairs to my growing collection Keep up the killer work. Too bad someone couldn't cast this after
  20. Nice work so far on Big Iron! Those air brake chambers look fantastic
  21. Very nice! I wondered the same about accessing the internal parts. There was a large fire apparatus builder Salsbury close by till they moved. E-one took over the plant for awhile, but since moved
  22. Now the hard part for me, bashing engines into spaces not meant to fit. I'm using the Cat 3406 from the W900 snapper, just cause I had one laying around. The wheel of death made it fit I masked off the hood grill surround, and grill and sprayed them with Alclad chrome over gloss black. The headlight bezels are kit parts
  23. Nice factory fresh Mack ! Excellent kitbash
  24. Even though it looks like a never ending problem with the hood profile, you've shown on numerous occasions the ability to correct it to your liking! If ya cut corners now, it would always annoy ya . Keep at it in small doses, we'll all be here w support ..or sarcastic remarks..mostly support lol
