  2. Glad I'm not the only one experiencing issues w the improved wet look clear ! My last 2 cans have sprayed like foam w tiny bubbles and finish was awful. Thought it was just me not spraying it right
  3. Beautiful work
  4. Great minds think alike ! I was looking at my KW coe wrecker and think I used smaller tanks from another kit . Their mounted rght below the sleeper. Love the look your after with the stretched ramp bed
  5. Very nice !
  6. Thanks , funny cause when I looked up the color for ideas, it did it was a GM color for Cadillac. Actually says gm color on label I just noticed I didnt realize the flake was out of scale, but have seen several that looked like a bass boat, this ones much smaller
  7. I wanted to test a new color I bought from lhs for my upcoming 59 Impala, Testors dark cherry pearl lacquer . I washed a couple spoons w alcohol, and commenced. The base colors I had available was gloss black, inca gold, diamond dust, and champagne gold. I thought the pearl would be very transparent, but after 2 coats I wasnt able to discern much difference. Heres all together - the yellow one didnt receive as much paint it looked much more see thru screwing around with some Ultra gloss clear I shot 2 wet coats over the black base and silver I cant wait to get building this now , plan to have a black roof / trunk then the dark cherry body / hood
  8. Imo , it would look better closer . Maybe have the tanks inside the side openings on ramp bed? Really like the idea your coming up with
  9. Cool to see a the interest in the coyote engine, cause my job is machining the real timing system. My buddy has a 2015 mustang gt and it's a monster
