  1. Obviously, we aren't going to get everything we want, but enough of my wish list has been granted over the years to make me want to keep up the game.
  2. Now I'm wondering how hard it would be to release a version with the five spokes from the coupe?
  3. Courtesy of Dean's Garage, a reprint of the Car Craft article that was the genesis of the Dream Rod, though I definitely prefer Cushenberry's take on it. http://www.deansgarage.com/2022/car-crafts-dream-roadster/
  4. And let's be honest, is anyone really mourning the loss of the ventiports on the hood?
  5. Hot Rod Magazine's 1973 yearbook had a nice step by step article on how to build a Fad T from scratch that I've used as a guiide for scratchbuilding model frames. Like Bill said, divide all the measurements by 25 (or 24). If you can't get a hold of a copy, there look to be any number of online tutorials on frame building.
  6. The 4 inch chop seems to work nicely on the channeled version.
  7. Was it narrower, and more rounded on top? That sounds like the '40 LaSalle grille.
  8. These arrived in the mail today. The grille is going into a more accurate replica of the Odbert '36 Ford.
  9. Maybe if enough people ask the good folks at Round 2, they'll bring this back?
  10. Those suspension parts look like they'd be extremely useful for any number of projects. A couple of extra backing plates would have been nice, but it's easy enough to cast copies.
  11. I don't get the fuss over Chevy II either. To me, it's like Moebius and AMT set up a focus group and went, "Here's every car made between 1960 and 1969. We want you to pick out the least interesting car possible.". Yet apparently people are buying them, and that's good for the company. In the real world, most people see cars as tools, and generally we like our tools to perform their tasks with as little drama as possible. Maybe whether we see the point or not isn't nearly as important as we think.
  12. Yes, if Revell could somehow bring back the Kelsey Hayes wire wheels, or come up with a new version, that would be great. The big and little wide whites and steel wheels from the '29 RPU are just begging for the Parts Pack treatment.
  13. That's okay. Anyone who tries to pass off ad hominem attacks as logic probably shouldn't presume to lecture anyone on the subject, but hey, you go have your fun.
  14. 5) Energy costs are going to apply just as much to IC vehicles, so if your argument is electic vs IC, it's highly relevant.
  15. Which if any, makes your argument even more irrelevant. While we're at it, what to you suppose is going to be happening to fuel prices?
  16. But since gasoline is free, filling the tank isn't a choice you have to make, or course.
  17. With the announcement of Italeri's 1/12 scale type 35 Bugatti, I'm thinking these two deserve the large scale treatment.
  18. I think that was just the Buick, though the Tempest did have half-a-V8 slant four
  19. The one I'd really like to see of that body style is a full detail kit of the Pontiac Tempest, mostly because of the interesting drivetrain.
  20. A decent kit of one of the vintage electrics would be nice.
  21. It took a bit of searching, but it's not the first.
  22. Cold fusion does have that niggling problem that nobody's been able to work. As far regular fusion, at least ITER is still progressing, however slowly. And some possible good news for the folks preaching the hydrogen gospel. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/newfoundland-labrador/hydrogen-deal-canada-germany-reaction-1.6560538
  23. I paid a visit to P M Hobbycraft, after partaking of the excellent pizza place int he same building, and I picked up this. I have a special project in mind for it.
  24. That's actually not bad for MS Paint. Are you using a mouse, or a tablet?
