  1. They both look very cool. I don't know what it is about diecast, just doesn't seem as 'fun' to work with as plastic but you did a great job on both.
  2. Wow that's insane. I would have never thought of that. Way cool!
  3. Gorgeous and beautiful pictures.
  4. Got it. A day without learning something is a wasted day. Mahalo!
  5. Nice looking Jag. This a great kit with lots of fine detail as seen in the grill and wire wheels.
  6. "Post your finished (pau) model cars here in all their glory–your online display case!" Forgive my ignorance but what is pau? Thanks
  7. You have to do what you like but sometimes you have to break out of your comfort zone to test your skills & learn new ones. Pro touring would be my choice.
  8. That's awesome! And interesting choice of engine.
  9. I saw this story on my local newspaper's website. Amazing! Shows what can be accomplished when there's no wife and kids :-O
  10. Very cool & unique. What wheels did you use? I like.
  11. You nailed the 30's feel. Excellent work. And yeah, what scale is it?
  12. Looks good! I really like this kit. Easy to build and very versitile.
  13. This is looking like a very cool custom so far. The roof, stance and ford hubcaps all flow nicely together.
  14. I agree, with the shaved tailgate.
  15. Looking good already. Can't wait to see it done.
  16. That is... is... WOW!!! I tried but couldn't find anything else to describe it.
  17. Cool concept & great workmanship.
  18. If you're still looking, here's one I did last summer http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/105061-lifted-hummer-h2-2/
  19. Very cool.
  20. Beautiful beautiful beautiful!
  21. Good looking Chevy!
  22. This is very interesting. I'll be following this build.
  23. I settled on a pretty simple design for the door panels. I cut a horizontal line on the panel and added a strip of 26 gauge wire, cut a hole for the speaker and added thicker gauge wire along the bottom edge. Kind of hard to see the flocking in the second picture. I was going to insert a parts box speaker but decided to go with a scratch built design using wire and fabric from an old Nike shirt instead. I'll add an armrest made from quarter round stock and PE window switches. It's painted DupliColor white primer which I'll use for the seats too. Thanks and let me know what you think.
  24. Can't wait to see this done. I'm a huge fan of the show. Fights, car chases & all of Jim's conniving, most of which would be hard to pull off today with cell phones and the internet. Get that thing weathered.
  25. Some work on the door panels. Still trying to decide on a design for the doors. I want to keep it simple and clean but not too plain.
