  1. thanks guys Dan, I did use some wire on one line to get it where I wanted, I don't know why I didn't use wire to make some of the 'curves' smaller/tighter going into the rams. more knowledge for the next one I suppose, lol. I plan to spend some time at the bench tomorrow morning [i need it for stress relief/therapy], so stay tuned for some pic's at some point tomorrow.....

  11. Well geeze Jim, the poor kit feels neglected, thus giving you fits, lol. I know you will get it together, if it'll help, you can use some of my glue....it really bonds well if ya put something on crooked, haha....

  16. that is a cool looking build, poor thing has had a rough run, lol. what is the deal with the frame on these kits? they that bad to deal with?
  17. ok, didn't see these today, or ever in person, but photos of photos that my grand dad took. a couple of them are dated 1978, the others, I am unsure of the date, but must be fairly close.
  18. long story short, I have to empty my recently passed grandmothers apartment. while starting that process today after work, I came across this small glass. it's larger than a shot glass, but too small to be a drinking glass. my grandfather sold GMC rigs and trailmobile trailers, must be this was some sort of promotional gadget. I put a paper towel in it to try to make the lettering show up better. I thought it was kinda cool.
  19. these were waiting for me when I got home,
