  1. Carl, James, Mike and Dan, thanks guys, been a long road so far, but it's getting there. Mike, I started this little project back in November, it usually takes me a month per build, I hope it doesn't take me another 2 months to complete the last three still have to do the rig and hauler....... car #3 went together pretty fast, so if I get some bench time during the week on the other ones, in a couple weeks it'll be time to build the rig

  10. as a side note, all my pic's so far have been taken with my cell phone, my daughter got a new digital camera, so before this is all done, I will have her take some good photo's and post them.
  11. thanks guys. it looks like the hood fit is going to be an across the board issue later on I will see what I can do, but for now, I will march on. number 3 is called done this morning half way home..... thanks for following along.......
  12. Joe, keep rolling along buddy, looks great. I must say, as much as I look forward to seeing this done, I will be a bit sad not seeing updates after it is done. heck of a project for a 'quickie' rebuild

  15. hard to make a vega wagon look cool, but this is it! I too had one of these 'things' back in the day, orange with brown doors and that plaid interior. I got it near the end of it's usefull life, but it managed to get me where I needed to be

  17. Dave, love the interior color, but is it tan, off white, or?? looks great, but hard to tell exact color on my monitor, lol.

  19. Tim, holy smokes that is some good looking paint/clear! I had a blast building that kit, did mine in panther pink, was a fun build. love the wheel choice, gonna be a stunner!
  20. thanks guys got car number three 1/2 foiled and the rest of the bits/parts painted tonight. plan for tomorrow is to complete the foil, glue in the glass and put interior and chassis together with body, sunday will be PE bits, side pipes and finger print removal if all goes to plan, 3 will be done sunday thanks for following along, been quite a journey so far.........[still have titan and hauler to do, and thinking of adding a garage dio to the mix.....]
  21. Dan, started foil work on it last night, look for more pic's over the weekend, hope to have #3 done by sunday evening
