  1. i'm glad these rigs are going to be re-issued [according to the Italeri site], I can't wait to get one or two....
  2. most excellent! as JT mentioned, I love the exhaust color treatment, that just looks terrific, just add's that 'little something'. beautiful job on this truck, just beautiful.
  3. looks great, I hope to see this in person in Utica............hint, hint....
  4. looks great, darn near perfect match as well! can't wait to see more
  5. thanks guys . the sleeper is taking a lot of body work, trying to get all the seams to disappear, and I hate actual body work it's looking ok though, hope to have some new pic's up this afternoon.
  6. fiery orange Jim and white lightening.
  7. thanks for all the info guys. while I mull over if I am going to box stock it, or change the items mentioned, I started on the body. got the main cab painted and have the hood in what's going to be the secondary color. still need to mask the hood and paint the main color on it. have part of the sleeper together, gonna need a lot of body work on it as the seems are terrible. here's where I am at with it,
  8. .............he came dancin' across the water.......
  9. glad to be seeing this again looking great so far, keep at it.
  10. 50 degrees yesterday, 40 and rain this morning @8 am, 10 degree drop in temp by 9am and snow, ended up at this point with about 8 inches of heavy wet snow. got out of work early [roads were horrible, took twice as long to get home as usual], and 'did' the driveway. scattered snow now, hope I do not have to do the driveway again in the am. c'mon spring.........
  11. as far as I am concerned, muscle car means light car [relatively speaking], big cubic inches. as mentioned, pony car/intermediate body with biggest power plant available. won't stop, won't steer, but when the tires 'hook', it goes like stink that is my definition anyway.
  12. I like the first one myself. good luck, I think color choice is always the hardest part of a build.............
  13. thanks guys, interesting info, this should be something else lol. Mark, that looks terrific, if i end up half as as good as that, i will be pleased.
  14. Jim, looks like we will being having a text session soon, lol. I noticed a bit of deja-vu looking at the instructions, very similar to the KW I just finished......... may be some kit bashing going on soon with this........
  15. not sure, the one I frequent had the same stuff for forever, they finally got the race hauler, motion Camaro, grumpy nova, 36 ford, super stones truck and a few other new kits. I was really hoping to see some 'old' stock marked down, but there wasn't much on clearance. they still have a 1/12 mustang for full price, thought for sure it'd be on sale by now. they did have the bull horn kit as well.
  16. minus plow and salter, it looks like my sons wreck of a truck in my driveway nice job, it looks awesome [unlike the one in my driveway....]
  17. box stock is the plan, and ya, the sleeper looks like it's going to need a lot of work, the fit of the panels is not quite the best, lol. the tanker isn't going to be permanent, I haven't built one yet [another nightmare of it's own from what I understand] and thought i'd put one behind this for now when it's done.
  18. so, here's the next project, any tips/suggestions on this kit? I think I may team this one with a tanker trailer. thanks for any tips/advice on this one, tom
  19. you create some marvelous models, those two are stunning, well done Sir.
