  1. that's sweet, great looking rig
  2. just got back from hobby lobby, picked up a super stones truck and a Baldwin motion Camaro, along with some paint.
  3. thanks Dennis it's now under glass.
  4. looking good, can't wait to see them done.
  5. that's a good looking rig! outside shots look fantastic
  6. not sure if this one will go to the show in april or not, but ya never know....
  7. I just love those Volvo rigs this must be from your pre-orange period good looking combo, beautiful job as always JT.
  8. another amazing build, super job! don't get me wrong, you do awesome work, but, does it ever strike you to do a clean shiny build?
  9. JT, was hoping to get some outside shots as the sun is out, but still have too much snow on the ground and it's sort of windy, so couldn't find a good 'spot' without fear of ruining it, lol. thanks for the positive comments
  10. with the growing fleet,
  11. she's done [for the most part, still undecided on adding the visor, and have to paint the horn openings], a lot of orange paint went on this one, lol. trailer has wood flooring and walls [doll house flooring and balsa for the sides], I also forgot to sand the tire tread, and have a few things I am not happy with, but as a whole, i'm pleased with it. hope you all like it.
  12. ..........oh man, I forgot you'd likely see that...... it's all good though, I like the orange better now that it's done, off to make a topic over in under glass.
  13. thanks, I was going for matching the box on both truck and trailer. it actually has a nice shine, my crummy cell phone pic's don't do the finish justice. as to the tires, I always forget to do a few things, that was one of them wood flooring is doll house flooring I found at Hobby Lobby, the plank width of it is the same as what is molded on the floor, one 'sheet' does two trailer floors. and thanks for the comments
  14. cannot really find the words to describe the beauty of this model, but it is without a doubt one of, if not the nicest model I have seen here. well done.
  15. I think the truck likes the grille treatment, it looks as though it's smiling this is coming along great, that deck platform looks terrific.
  16. found these on the local craigslist, mack, astro, cali-hauler and reo are un- started/complete. the movin on kit is complete, but has a bad paint job [in the pond] and somewhat assembled motor. IH is a train wreck, but salvable I think. ford p/u was part of the package, still in bags inside.
  17. what an amazing job, as said, stunning. wonderful looking model, just can't say enough about it.
  18. the SD and the IH are out there, but can be expensive. the DD, the KW, 352 and titan can be had reasonable, the astro 95 is hit or miss price-wise, some cheap, some expensive, depends on how you find them. cheapest options are the KW K-123, Pete 352, Freightliner DD, and Chevy Titan 90, all are around the $35 mark as re-issues, all the other COE's can get expensive as it's been awhile since they have been issued. [just my experience]
  19. fantastic job, looks beautiful.
  20. my son happened to be at HL last week, said they added some new stock and the hauler was in the new stuff. it's good to have a second shopper
