  1. thanks guys, interesting info, this should be something else lol. Mark, that looks terrific, if i end up half as as good as that, i will be pleased.
  2. Jim, looks like we will being having a text session soon, lol. I noticed a bit of deja-vu looking at the instructions, very similar to the KW I just finished......... may be some kit bashing going on soon with this........
  3. not sure, the one I frequent had the same stuff for forever, they finally got the race hauler, motion Camaro, grumpy nova, 36 ford, super stones truck and a few other new kits. I was really hoping to see some 'old' stock marked down, but there wasn't much on clearance. they still have a 1/12 mustang for full price, thought for sure it'd be on sale by now. they did have the bull horn kit as well.
  4. minus plow and salter, it looks like my sons wreck of a truck in my driveway nice job, it looks awesome [unlike the one in my driveway....]
  5. box stock is the plan, and ya, the sleeper looks like it's going to need a lot of work, the fit of the panels is not quite the best, lol. the tanker isn't going to be permanent, I haven't built one yet [another nightmare of it's own from what I understand] and thought i'd put one behind this for now when it's done.
  6. so, here's the next project, any tips/suggestions on this kit? I think I may team this one with a tanker trailer. thanks for any tips/advice on this one, tom
  7. you create some marvelous models, those two are stunning, well done Sir.
  8. that is one tough looking truck! well done man....you're a machine cranking out one beauty after another
  9. another beauty! great job on this one as well, love it!
  10. that's sweet, great looking rig
  11. just got back from hobby lobby, picked up a super stones truck and a Baldwin motion Camaro, along with some paint.
  12. thanks Dennis it's now under glass.
  13. looking good, can't wait to see them done.
  14. that's a good looking rig! outside shots look fantastic
  15. not sure if this one will go to the show in april or not, but ya never know....
  16. I just love those Volvo rigs this must be from your pre-orange period good looking combo, beautiful job as always JT.
  17. another amazing build, super job! don't get me wrong, you do awesome work, but, does it ever strike you to do a clean shiny build?
  18. JT, was hoping to get some outside shots as the sun is out, but still have too much snow on the ground and it's sort of windy, so couldn't find a good 'spot' without fear of ruining it, lol. thanks for the positive comments
  19. with the growing fleet,
  20. she's done [for the most part, still undecided on adding the visor, and have to paint the horn openings], a lot of orange paint went on this one, lol. trailer has wood flooring and walls [doll house flooring and balsa for the sides], I also forgot to sand the tire tread, and have a few things I am not happy with, but as a whole, i'm pleased with it. hope you all like it.
  21. ..........oh man, I forgot you'd likely see that...... it's all good though, I like the orange better now that it's done, off to make a topic over in under glass.
  22. thanks, I was going for matching the box on both truck and trailer. it actually has a nice shine, my crummy cell phone pic's don't do the finish justice. as to the tires, I always forget to do a few things, that was one of them wood flooring is doll house flooring I found at Hobby Lobby, the plank width of it is the same as what is molded on the floor, one 'sheet' does two trailer floors. and thanks for the comments
  23. cannot really find the words to describe the beauty of this model, but it is without a doubt one of, if not the nicest model I have seen here. well done.
