  1. guys, thanks! wow, what a flashback looking at those was, lol. funny though, as a little kid, they seemed waaayyy bigger, haha. thanks again, that was a fun trip back in time.
  2. ok, my memory of this time is foggy/non-existent as I was 3-5 years old at the time, bit I remember my parents buying me snap together funny cars. I have no idea who made the kits, or what the drivers/cars were. anyone have any of these kits, or pictures of the kits from this time frame? it would be nice to see some, maybe it would jar the memory a bit. thanks, tom
  3. almost everything irked me today. been a rough week and a half. got a lot of stuff going on, a lot to get done, and making no progress! ugh........ today was rough, everything I did went 'not so smooth', like the opposite of the midas touch, if ya get me.
  4. it's funny in a way, because we all seem to have room to store our hoard of kits, yet actual display space seems to be an issue at times, kinda weird when ya think about it.....
  5. thanks, hoping my mack comes out as good or better [if I ever get back to it...]
  6. looking good so far. and I hear ya on the pictures, I suffer from bad pic taking as well.
  7. well, just recently back into plastic, but, i'm at about 70 kits in the hoard, and have managed to complete one truck and one trailer [rigs], and have 7 more in the mail. my build to buy ratio is horrible, but i'm having fun, and am well stocked
  8. well, I can tell ya that 60 inches of plasma tv with a good surround sound wakes you up to many sights and sounds never experienced before. I had a 50 inch DLP before that I thought was great, but the plasma is just unreal in picture quality.
  9. excellent build, even the junk in the back looks real. very well done!
  10. another great build JT, that car carrier is just awesome. great combo there. but, I gotta ask......you out of orange yet?
  11. nice find, yet another kit I didn't know existed.
  12. got this stuff over the past couple days, and another moebius 53 ft trailer
  13. ok, now the engine is done, JimB was kind enough to stop into work today and hook me up with some mack oil filter decals, that was the final touch.
  14. great job on the wheathering, underside looks terrific as well.
  15. looks great, although I think the pig is looking to escape what 'color' did you use on the trailer? I like the look, and I have one in the stash to build eventually.
  16. boy, you build some great looking stuff! another beauty you got there.
  17. it's looking great so far, nice job.
  18. engine is done, interior bits in primer, slow build, but i'm getting there....
  19. great job, clean and crisp build. as mentioned, let's get that trailer on there
