First off I'm not a Hemi expert, so lets get that out of the way, but based on the article I read (and linked below) there is no diff between the car & truck 6.4 Hemi except the manifold, and since you're changing that anyway it shouldn't be a problem. The problem will be in finding one but it may be easier to find a car kit than a truck kit. Good luck. https://www.dodgegarage.com/news/article/how-to/2020/10/gen-iii-hemi-engine-quick-reference-guide-part-iv.html

3D printed Cobra Daytona Quality ?
MeatMan replied to Jon Haigwood's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
That looks like a free file available on Cults that I downloaded myself. I've read where people sell prints of free files, which usually aren't high quality. Here it is in my slicer. -

What did you see on the road today?
MeatMan replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Sorry, no pics but I saw a Ford F150 diesel that sounded like it had a huge supercharger under it. It was lifted and otherwise stock-looking except the huge tires and wheels. The only place I've heard a blower whine like that was at the track on a gasoline engine. What beautiful sound! -

Monogram Corvette C4 Roadster (Geiger Widebody style)
MeatMan replied to camaro69's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Since you started this thread I've been gifted an 83 Corvette kit my brother had no intention of building. Though I won't go such an extensive route as you I will use some of your processes. Thanks for posting. -
Welcome Rick!

I do it because its hard to see imperfections with white primer. I use grey primer to find and fix imperfections then if I need white primer I'll spray a thin coat of it.

2023 Cannonball Run-What-You-Brung Build Thread
MeatMan replied to White Rabbit's topic in Community Builds
Coming down to the wire on my 918. Got a rolling chassis so I did a pre-paint mockup. The wheels may not be final though but they came out great with the black background. I still want to add seat belts to the interior. As for the paint, it will be HOK Burple candy base. -
Now that's sweet!

At the risk of getting myself into trouble....
MeatMan replied to Biggu's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Yeah, I'm a confessed offender. I tend to shelve a project when I run into an issue that I can't immediately solve. I may find a solution later but don't update a thread figuring the audience has moved on. -
Yup, when you forget what program you're watching because of all the commercials its time to jump off the train!

Awesome build!

My brother came in from out of town and brought me these. They're regifts that he said he'd never get around to building. I've got plans for the 53 but the other two I think will either be kitbashed or slump busters someday.

Detroit Diesel engine project
MeatMan replied to Oldmopars's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Very nice work! I've been working in CAD for about 2 years and haven't done an engine with that detail. Kudos! -
