  1. Very nice!
  2. Thanks Jim. Some of the folks that like a more traditional approach beat me up about them at the time, but that's how it goes with customs. Some will like them, some will hate them.
  3. Too cool!!
  4. I know he's on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/groups/729223174643840
  5. I went a bit more radical on mine because I wanted it really low. I altered some McPherson struts to fit the height I needed. I used the stock A-arms so it looks stock from the bottom and the only way you can tell is where the came through the fender well. I did pics of the process but can't find them. I think I was on Photobucket at the time so they're long gone.
  6. Nice ad-hoc poll!
  7. Awesome work!
  8. Thanks for looking Joe, and sorry I've neglected this build. I ran into an issue with the body and just got so ticked I shelved it. Since I finished my Cannonball run build I guess I can get back to this one. I've pulled out a couple of other shelved builds so I can swap one of those out and do finish this one instead.
  9. I'm starting to like the idea too!
  10. Very nice!
  11. Ditto on the JF kits. I did the White Cabover a couple of years ago and I needed to do a lot of cleanup around the window area to fit the windows in, and they were flat ones I made from styrene. But just as was stated, if you want something different you only have resin as an option, even 3D printed resin isn't styrene thin.
  12. Thanks. I know nothing about Porsches so I'll have to do some studying before I start on mine.
  13. Hey Gary, how'd you get it to sit so high?
  14. Great post! I'd also like to add after reading that MSDS, "most of all, don't get it in your eyes!"
  15. Great post. I had seen this vid and even thought about buying a VOC meter. I still may someday soon.
  16. Thanks for posting the MSDS. The company I retired from req'd annual hazardous chemical training so I'm very familiar. For me, my resin printer is in the room I paint in and I turn on my paint booth blower while I'm printing (which is what I'm doing right now!) and I have confidence it is adequate. I also use my paint respirator from the time I enter until I leave.
