  1. The reason I started this thread/topic is because I've heard of people waiting only an 'hour' or so after Tamiya primer and then applying Tamiya top coat.
  2. How long do I need to wait to apply top coat if I'm using Tamiya primer and paint? Thanks.
  3. Marshall, I love those Bat emblem wheels! Someone needs to use those on some other car, too cool! Post the pics when you get the figures painted, would love to see that! Gene
  4. Very nice, that yellow looks very shiny! Nice concept and engine.
  5. Nice save Dan. A '68 Dart with a 340 would be a fun car to drive!
  6. Very nice work Aaron, I like them all, but , my fav is the Nova! Those wheels are killer.
  7. Looks good Scott. I can't see anything wrong with the buckles. I like the color too.
  8. He likes pin stripes.
  9. Batman doesn't need no stinking trim around the canopies!
  10. Very nice. Love that brown, at least it looks brown from here.
  11. Catch-V28
  12. Tommy, 14 Celsius should be ok, that's a little cool but not enough to ruin a paint job, unless it's also 'very' humid. Sounds like something else is going on. Runs on the sides means too much paint, making the coats too thick. Are you using spray cans?
  13. Very nice build Tamas! I love the color(s)!
  14. Looks like that might work Dennis, see more once it's filled in. Love this project.
  15. Looks great Hippie Dude
  16. Looks like you're almost there with the slicks.
  17. color looks great Fred, the plan sounds cool too.
  18. That is an awesome car Ron! Even the color the plastic is works for this.
  19. Looks good Steve, '60 Merc convertible, how cool is that! What color are you thinking for the top?
  20. Here's the water tank that sets between the blower pulley and the block. The way it comes in the kit it will not fit, so , I cut off the feet and will attach new tabs to attach to the cylinder heads. Thanks for looking!
  21. Cool, David and Chas, I'll stop by and say hello and check out your stuff. Gene.
  22. It's only my second model car show, can't wait! I think the KC Slammers website said there's gonna be a swap meet? How will that work? Anybody know? Never mind, duh.
  23. Art, like I said it was my LHS's 'house brand' epoxy. I sanded it dry but still, it was like sanding a pencil eraser, the stuff just crumbled. I'll try well known brand next time. Thanks.
  24. Shane, that is really great. This just goes to show what the right color combination can do for a car, outstanding, the wheels are just right too. Good basic ideas and good craftsmanship have resulted in a real quality build, good job!
  25. I just used straight hobby shop epoxy to fill a hole (from a drill bit) in some styrene, let it cure for 12hrs,.. when I went to sand it smooth it just crumbled like I was sanding a pencil eraser. I now have CA in the hole.
