  1. Maybe a retooled stock 1970-71 Cyclone will be one of Round2's surprises for 2023, followed by a 1968-69 Torino hardtop/convertible and '68 Indy Pace Car. Then in 2024 they can tool up a 1969 Cyclone GT and Cyclone Spoiler Dan Gurney/Cale Yarborough Special or a Cyclone Spoiler II.
  2. that's a little over 5 ounces
  3. If the kit sales are phenomenal, maybe they will do that on a subsequent release.

  5. This reminds me of the diesel emissions scandal that VW got caught up in with software that complied during EPA testing, but then reverted to "dirty" emissions during normal driving. Everything You Need to Know about the VW Diesel Emissions Scandal (caranddriver.com) The HD diesel truck engine manufacturers also got caught up in their own cheating scandal.
  6. I doubt you would get anything closer to what I suggested since it's a 4-door sedan. Most police cars in this country were bottom-of-the-line cars or close to it.
  7. I would start with the Hubley 1/24th 1961 Ford promo or kit. The promos tend to warp. Also check out this 1960 kit for inspiration: 1960 Ford Fairlane Sheriff Patrol Car - Police - Pro Built - 1/24 Hubley | eBay
  8. what scale?
  9. Most would prefer the SS version, so you might do better with a resin kit than to wait for one from Round2 or Revell.
  10. Maybe someday we will get a '35 Ford. All I have is rubber versions of it.
  11. I wasn't aware of a kit version that could be made stock. Any comments on how decent the stock build is?
  12. Yes, it was a promo in a white box. I think I've listed all of the plastic promotionals. Brookfield Collectors Guild made diecast Suburbans, so you might want to check those out too. 1988-1990 C-1500 standard cab 1991-1992 Silverado Sportside 1993-1995 C-1500 extended cab 1996 C-3500 Dooley
  13. There was a Teal Green Metallic C1500 extended cab promo in '93. See the information in the Truck Kit section:
  14. This Teal Green Metallic was also available as a '93 promo.
  15. A cool and rare car for sure, but a convertible kit with this top as an option would make more sense than trying to cut the roof off of the hardtop.
  16. I've got Dad's tan version which had some minor damage. Monogram sent me a few parts many years ago to restore it, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. These kits are really nice.
  17. I think there is a market for at least some of the '63-'70 Coupe deVille and deVille, '67-'76 Eldorado, '66-'72 Tornado, '65-'68 Fury III, and Chrysler New Yorker and 300 models.
  18. I think it's a great collection of kits and diecast models. One correction is that the '70 GSX was only available with a black interior - not white.
  19. same with the '57 Bel Air 2-door hardtop that Dad ordered (also no radio)
  20. Do you still own this '55 or know what happened to it?
  21. Tim, I had to look at the brochure again to see what you were talking about regarding the moldings. I agree, it looks better going all the way around. I'm more knowledgeable about GM and Ford vehicles, and remember being disappointed when the Barracuda, Challenger, AMX and Javelin were dropped after '74.
