  1. The 1931 Rolls-Royce is a fairly common radio. The other two I don't recall ever seeing. Thanks for posting them, Brian.
  2. No, Brian, those don't count since they aren't Philco radios. The ones I listed are all AMT models except the AMC Ambassador and Chrysler Turbine Car. The Ambassador uses the same ON/OFF/volume control knob and station selector knob as the AMT models and appears to use the AMT speaker grille and radio components. It appears to use the same chassis as the 1967-1969 Thunderbird. I haven't seen a Turbine Car version in person, so I'm not 100% certain on that.
  3. I thought I would update this list. All are AMT models except as noted. 1964 Thunderbird (multiple colors) radio NT-11 1964 Grand Prix (never seen) 1964 Riviera (Silver Cloud) 1964 XL (never seen) 1965 Thunderbird (multiple colors) radio NT-11 1965 Impala SS 1965 Grand Prix (Starlight Black) 1965 Dynamic 88 (Target Red, Lucerne Mist) 1965 Wildcat (Astro Blue, Flame Red) 1966 Impala SS (Aztec Bronze) 1966 Galaxie 7-Litre (never seen) 1966 Thunderbird (multiple colors) radio NT-11 1966 Continental (Cranberry) 1966 Riviera (Shell Beige) 1966 Mustang 2+2 (Antique Bronze, Signal Flare Red, Arcadian Blue) radio P-22 1967 Mustang 2+2 (Frost Turquoise, bright yellow) 1967 Thunderbird (multiple colors) radio NT-11 1967 Riviera (Platinum Mist) 1968 Thunderbird (multiple colors) radio NT-11 1968 XL (never seen) 1968 SS427 (Ermine White) MPC 1969 Thunderbird (Royal Maroon) radio NT-11 1967 Ambassador - Jo-Han Chrysler Turbine Car (Turbine Bronze) - Jo-Han
  4. I would not be surprised if Round2 has a '66 Barracuda promo or kit that can be cloned to revive it.
  5. AMT made promotional model cars of the 1949-1951 Ford Custom 4-door sedan. They come with mirrored metal 'glass' inserts since there is no interior. Remote control and windup versions were also available. If you are patient, you can find nice examples without warpage.
  6. the '74 and '75 Cutlass grilles are incorrect; a '73 442 would be the most appropriate choice of the three years
  7. I have never seen one in this color combination, and I grew up in Ford country (Dearborn)!
  8. The AMT '69 Impala SS also has the plastic front axle pieces, and I would guess the Wildcat does, too.
  9. Steve Goldman of Round2 indicated that they corrected the 'B' pillar on the Demon to make it more accurate to the real car.
  10. 1974 Dart Sport, 1974 Hang 10, 1975 Hang 10, 1976 Spirit of '76
  11. 1970 through 1973 Duster 340:
  12. I would only be interested in a stock version. Hopefully it would come with the 6 and the 302.
  13. @SteveG here's a suggestion for Round2, a '72 Duster Twister I saw at the Greenfield Village Motor Muster this Summer:
  14. sounds like a kinky fantasy ...
  15. What a poor execution for a model kit. It should have been accurately scaled and capable of being built stock.
  16. I think the Pinto name is poison after the gas tank issues and lawsuits. I liken it to Chevy bringing back a Corvair or Vega or Chevette. My sister worked in the parts dept. at a Chevy dealer and the employees called the Chevette the shove-it.
  17. Hopefully this will follow:
  18. It's probably the '68 Coronet R/T hardtop or a '68-'70 Charger.
  19. Jo-Han bodies and the later interiors were very accurate. Those parts could be cloned and then tool all-new chassis and engine compartment to provide the detail that modelers expect from a new kit.
  20. I'm sure a lot of modelers would be interested in the '67 to '70 Eldorado, some of the deVilles, the 442s, Toronados, 300s, Furys, '70 GTX and Road Runner, '68-'70 Javelins, and AMXs. Not everyone wants to build every iteration of Camaro, Chevelle or Mustang.
  21. Justin, How has the most recent reissue of the '69 XL been selling? Do the '65 Bonneville and Grand Prix, '66 Wildcat and Park Lane sell decently every time they are reissued?
  22. Dearborn used some Lincolns. A Mark VI would be cool ... The Dearborn Police from the 1970s until Present – Dearborn Historical Museum (thedhm.org)
  23. What an excellent job you did researching all of these variations. Thanks, Chris.
