Had to put our old doggy down yesterday. We had her for 17 years and she was blind, deaf and half out of her mind for the last month. Physically I swear she was in near tip top condition for a 17 year old dog but her brain was just wore smooth out. While not being the brightest candle on the birthday cake, she was a sweet old girl and she'll be missed. At this past Christmas:

Christian: That Hughes is da bomb! I'm a big fan of the OH-6 (military version). I used to be around these things all the time at Ft. Hood and then again in Iraq. That Chuka Cannon is on the verge of pornography!! lol Clayton: It looks like that model could get in depth real quick! Nice! Bill: That's a nice stack of up of builds that you have there!! Allen: That's awesome. Post a WIP when you get to that one. I could never build something like that as I suck at figures as of now. Tom: That's a cool build and a great theme!!! -

I love Stukas, especially the G models with those totally "Bad A" 37mm cannons under the wings. You know I don't really like a lot of the lack of detail that the old Monogram birds have , this is true. But they were first molded back in the 60's (or at least a lot of 'em were) so I try to cut some slack on that. The rivet detail I definitely like on a lot of the old Monogram birds like the Dauntless though. That you don't see on todays kits. Panel lines, whether they are engraved or raised, replace the rivets. Back when I was a kid, the Monogram kits were da bomb!! -
My uncle had one of these cars and for I used to love that thing. Your build here is very realistic. I like the job you did on the paint and wheels Benjamin. You've got yourself a nice lookin' model there bud!

What Rich said!! I hate that stuff that you have to add that's close to glass like the sun visors that you are talking about. The only thing I can think of is a jig to hold the visors in place and use a good 5 minute epoxy on them. Your build looks great Gerald!!

The paint! Good Lord .....that paint!!! You sir, set the bar with that shine!

Save for the mirrors (which that's kind of surprising) , it's quite convincing!!! Great job even with the shortcomings. -
That's different......and cool!

This'll be great!!! I used to have this car from back in my teenage years but it got destroyed in a move.

The detail that's in that thing must be mind blowing!!!

It's been a couple of days since my last update but I have been working a little here and there on it in the way of the back edges( which are separate pieces) and the rear faces of the wheels. I've also been working on the rear shocks , which I finally got the lower mounting points/ rings figured out and little things here and there until my linkage and bolts/nuts come in the mail. Odds are that I'll start back up on the engine again until that stuff makes it in because I need to run all my brake lines and fuel lines before I install the wheels and tires as well as mount the master cylinder/ brake booster and run the vacuum line for that to up front. There is definitely an order to building this thing that's for sure. Then there's yesterday where I had to put my little doggy Sweet Pea down after 17 years of her being my little pal. I didn't even hit the bench this morning. In short, the little dog had just lost her mind. She was blind, deaf and lost her good friend Scooter who I had to put down 6 months ago. She's a good ol' girl and she'll be missed.

Good score Jeremy! I think Eduard is ahead of the game in a lot of areas, but that's just my opinion. I've built their Fw190 A8/R2 which some just flat out consider "unbuildable" and over engineered but turn out awesome builds if the builder just sticks with it, and now have their Hellcat Profipak kit and that thing looks great. I've read all the reviews and have watched folks build these things in group builds on other forums and had to have one. I liked what I saw so much that I bought two!!! Can't wait to see you start this one bud. -
