Tim and Dan: Thanks fellas! kazy: I usually use clear parts cement but I had some trouble out of it this go round. I ended up using JB Weld of all things and it worked like a charm! Welcome to the forums BTW.

Carl: I'll get a pic up on how I did it tomorrow morning bud. Everybody: Well I didn't post much in the way of progress this weekend because I was freekin totally busy. I had to choose between forum or benchtime and benchtime took the win. Any ways I finally got the glass assy installed and after the glue fully cured out I installed the interior and chassis onto the body. Well...............so far this is what I've got (the front clip is the old one so don't worry as it'll get changed out soon. I'm currently working on the new one). The stance is exactly what I was after. I've still got a ways to go but here we are:

Lookin' good Nick. To add to what Nick (high octane) said , try not to build too far outside of where you are right now. You're doing great so far so build within your ability and enjoy the hobby. Try not to compare your work to others. Instead, challenge yourself to get better with each build and you'll get there bud. Can't wait to see more, Joe

I hear you on that Tim. I'd say about 30% of my time at the bench is made up of photography. The right angles, the right lighting, ensuring the colors are there , that the model is free of the junk that I recently had in my photos (plastic drill shavings, dust.............dog hairs and the like removed from the scene!!) and all that stuff. I installed the window assy this morning. Speaking of photos , there aint any yet but will more than likely be by end of day today.

I had the fastback version of this kit and I couldn't get the stance right to save my neck when I built it 11 years ago and I certainly didn't do near as nice a job as you have pulled off here! Great job on this build Pat and like I've mentioned else where, I had a great time following this build with all the triumphs and stuggles you had.

I really enjoyed following this one Pat and have learned some things along the way.

Dang Jason! First off that's a great job to be able to finish something like this that can be transformed and all of the painted portions and details are all there. Secondly that's quite a show of pictures that you 've got there for this jewel. I feel for you on the winter coming back. At some point in the future I'll be moving my comfy bench location in the spare bedroom to the garage and that's gonna suck so I can partially identify with what you may be going through in regards to the weather. Lastly, I want to thank you for being a part of this journey that I've embarked on here in this forum. At first I didn't know how the All the Rest GB was going to do but it looks like it held its own with the participation of all the good folks here who contributed to it. Thanks a mil Jason. Which pic would you like posted in the Completed Builds section? I'll get 'er posted as soon as you let me know.

Wow that interior is da bomb!!!

Man I have to say Tom that red car came out every bit as good as the first car did. I hated that about the hood to body fit but the build came out spectacular nonetheless. This blue one looks great as well and I think this one is my fave so far just because of the color.

Tim: No but I know where the problem is now. Dan: Thanks for the good word on the adoption. We are still in the process of the whole thing but we are making headway. Tom: Thanks for the encouragment good buddy. I'm glad you brought that up because I'm going to miss posting out here in the mainstream when this build is done. My next build will be a Messerschmitt Bf109G-6 in 1/48 scale (my scale of choice). I may see if the mods and the peeps around here will allow me to start a thread on the DB605 engine build portion around here because that part is its own kit. I'm gonna have a complete blast with that one! I do have plans on either a 66 Barracuda or Little Red Wagon build coming up though.

Thank you Randy! Tim: That's an easy question...............I don't sleep! Really though I get between 3 and 6 hours of sleep a night and usually an hour nap during the day. My dogs man.....my dogs! Everybody: I did manage to get the doors drilled for the mirrors(which this original body never saw the installation of), the pins cut to length and the mirrors installed as well this morning. I also BMF'd the windshield wipers on the glass assy. Here's the pics of the mirrors secured in place. I still have to play around with the camera a bit so I can bring out more red. This thing is a lot more red than this.

Tom and Pat: Thanks for the tip on the PE parts cut out on tape. Never thought of it but it's a great idea! Pat that lil' Stang of yours looks better every day. I really like that whole grill assembly!! Goo Gone for shining? Who knew??

Body looks swell there Dave! Engine and interior work is great as well.

It's really all up to each individual there Tim. I spray most of my paint at 30 psi and get asked why so high as well. Maybe one day I'll venture out with different pressures but for now 30's workin' for me like 40 is workin' for you. Nice job on the paint BTW!

That exhaust turned out really well JC and you're right that recess does get it up out of harms way. I also like the direction you are headed with this with the 80 RAC car.

Thanks Lee: All I did was cut the stud off, file it down flush, clean up the edges and break out the sanding sticks starting with a medium grit and worked my way to 6000 on the back side and then applied Future.Here's how they all look right now cleaned up and with the Future applied.

Lee: LOL! I haven't seen a reply like that before! LOL! Carl: Thanks again buddy! Dan: I know man. I actually did work on it this morning but haven't had time to post anything all day. This whole adoption thing is quite involved with house inspections, fingerprinting, meeting with the adoption rep and all that. Plus my computer got a freekin' virus today that I spent the whole day chasing out of it!!!! I almost took a flippin' bat to it!! I took a picture of the headlight lenses before working them over. Whoever invented this design for model headlights should be kicked right square in the butt I'll tell ya that! Here's before: I had some additional troubles today in the fact that the first headlight I was re-working "flicked" off into the wild blue freekin' wonder somewhere while I was sanding it. Great! I continued onwards, however , with headlight #2. After sanding and trimming I noticed a black speck in the clear molding of the light just suspended there in the clear..........You gotta be freekin' kiddin' here! So I robbed some more headlamps from my spare kit and proceeded on. I then found the first headlight on my bench ....whew!!! And cleaned up the remaining headlamps and replaced the one with the speck in it. They all look like this now...... They are all drying now after I applied some future on the lens faces. More pics tomorrow.

No need for any apology Adam. Modeling is modeling no matter what. Looks like you've got the weathering and paint section covered.................well I might add.
