  1. Very creative and well detailed.
  2. Nice work!
  3. You might consider changing the size and shape of the cut out in that deck lid.I'd suggest taking the side cut out to the top edge of the fender line on both sides and forward(?) to where the rear facia panel attaches. That would increase the available desk top work space and look less like the original piece less the roof section.Adding vertical panels down from the fender top edges and the facia panel would attach the new cut lines to the desk top itself.Just another set of ideas from another sick mind.
  4. For those considering building this woodie and are concerned about and the scale of the wood materials tat are available, google Uschi decals. They are super realistic wood grain decals that are available in a lot of scales. They make a specific decal set just for this kit and the results are amazing to see. They are also available on Ebay.
  5. Thanks for posting your photos as I am sure a lot of members have zero knowledge concerning these 20 HP engines that powered American automotive history for decades.Your attention to detail is exceptional and very well done. Thanks for sharing with us !!
  6. I personally prefer the shortened roof version.Looks very good so far.
  7. For those so inclined to produce weathering, rust and such these acrylics are absolutely the right choice.I have an arsenal of over 50 colors that get used regularly to produce what is needed. They are cheap are available everywhere plus super easy clean up.I use only brushes for application.I have an airbrush somewhere still in it's original box(mint-boxed?)That opened once a couple decades ago but have never used.
  8. Very clear photos also.It shouldn't take long to get a display case full of those.
  9. My suggestion was only a suggestion for how ro solve a design problem. If you HAVE to leave the body stock for some reason then please do so as it is surely not REALLY a problem only someone's suggestion as how to add to the art deco design theme.
  10. Absolutely outstanding work. You have managed to massage the original Ford design by using the classic tech used by restylers for decades to transform real cars into stunning works of rolling art.The realignment of fore, central and aft panel angles pulls the whole concept togeather nicely. The overall effect gels into something that flows so smoothly the observer almost doesn't realize what is different but looks really beautiful.Very impressive!
  11. Very kool mein friend!
  12. Sounds like a styrene dream becoming a reality!
  13. Is it possible to design new door profiles with your program and transplant into the stock '29 body? You have done so many other amazing things that this solution has surely crossed your extremely creative mind.
  14. Any pix of the car you are replicating?
  15. I know some of the people in these clubs so you might want to keep those locations under survielance:)Welcome to the forums and thanks you for your service.
  16. Several of the details on your inspiration rod are quite unique including those headers, the brass knuckles in the steering wheel and the lack of glass in most of the windows. That open roof and no interior window cranks( no side glass) either means this is a fair weather car or one water proofed interior with a drain in the floor! It's almost funny that he has that cowl vent open for ventilation.
  17. I personally think all the recent magazine coverage of The Race Of Gentlemen has been very influential has toward the increased popularity of this style. For those interested in seeing more details and outstanding photos of this style I highly recommend picking up the March 2017 issue of Hot Rod Deluxe magazine. It has the best coverage of the Race Of Gentlemen event in Pismo Beach,Ca.and vehicle detail photos you don't normally get in most magazines. The issue is easy to spot on the rack as it has "WET'N'WILD"and a beach racing scene right on the cover.
  18. Great finished model with accurate details and appropriate weathering.I hope this style is becoming a trend that we will see a lot more of in the future.
  19. Very very impressive work.
  20. It will be great to see your version of this classic kit.I very seldom see it built anymore as modelers tastes change toward more modern choices. One of my very first model projects was to take two of these and unchop the top to produce a high top coupe. That was done on the very first AMT release if this kit several decades ago. Thanks for sharing.
  21. Thanks fer sharing this build.IMHO we see too few tall T builds on here. These cars were the backbone of transportation in America for decades.I personally am glad you saved this one from the the glue bomb box.
  22. Nice looking trailer.I particularly like the details you are adding like swiveling ramp hold downs, very clever.
  23. Nice straight basic design that looks good from over here.
  24. I thought that shape on the roof was somehow familiar. Thanks for sharing.
