  1. I have seen sketches detailing where Chip made the major slice and dice modifications to the stock body so a really enterprising resin caster/master maker might just find themselves with a good seller on their hands.
  2. The totaled up years for those listed in the birthday column is 570.Ten listings equals an average age of 57.Happy"name day"to all involved!!
  3. This a great kit bashed custom. You did a masterful job of mating these kits into a believable car!Congratulations on a beautiful model.
  4. Replica or not,it's still cool in the extreme.Great build on a difficult kit. Thanks for sharing with us.

  9. Another benchmark build. The phantom interior photo is particularly cool.
  10. Congrats on your win at the CARBS contest.I believe you posted some pictures of a scratch built soda vending machine a while back I would like to know more about how you built that gem.Did you take any WIP photos as you were working on it?If so please consider posting hose here so we can all see how you did it.Thanks for sharing.
  11. Building a car made in the year of my birth is gonna be a problem as darn few 1942 cars were built.I do have a '42 Chevy complete line brochure in color so I would have starting reference material.
  12. I turned 74 a couple weeks ago and still have a lot of projects under way.Don't let your"age"slow you down or change your outlook on life or what you can accomplish.Live every day to the fullest.
  13. Great job on the re-do.The overall project worked out worked out very well.Congrats and thanks for sharing.
  14. I checked on his site and he is offering a '37 not a '39.The hood looks good but the headlights would have to be scratch built including those tricky lenses.Good luck with a conversion and be sure to post some pictures of it as your project proceeds.
  15. Very nice. The centered rear axle location looks much better.
  16. Neither of these links works.
  17. If anyone asks about that rear glass flaw tell 'em you were copying a detail from the real car that had a glass crack under extreme down pressure while driving at max velocity on the Autobahn.:)
  18. Thanks.I probably won't live long enough to build all of the resin stuff I have stock piled including quite a bit of Jimmy' s stuff.I just finished a curbside speedster based in his narrowed '20 Olds body.
  19. Nice body panel splicing.Gonna be sweet!
  20. Love your roadster project.Whose resin body did you use?
  21. I just checked on-line today(10/10/16) and Southern Finecast still offers these kits from England.
  22. You're doing the hobby a Great service photographing and posting these pictures. Not everyone can attend the show and these "like I was there"quality pix help everyone enjoy the show.I personally always see models I somehow completely missed and find details previously unseen. Thanks for all you do for the common hobby we all love.
  23. Please share the construction details of that unique supercharger and carb assembly with us.I would really like to create a similar set up on one of my in process projects. Thanks for sharing such a meaningful project with us.My wife and I are both cancer survivors and are very aware of what you are doing here with this build.
  24. We look forward to seeing everyone there. What a great time to charge up your building inspiration and renew old friendships.Don't feel bad about no new builds recently Jesse, one of the coupes I have packed up for the cult theme dates from the early 1960's.
