  1. Love it!This rates very high on my personal "Gottcha Factor"scale. It grabs you by the eyeballs and refuses to let go.
  2. I personally like your "I don't care"comment concerning your choice of colors. We should always, always, always build to suit ourselves not to please others. If you are pleased with your end result that's what our common hobby should be about. If someone else likes it that's a bonus,if not that's only their opinion and should never influence what you build or how you choose to build it.

  9. You are making unique choices with this model and that makes it way different which is very refreshing.Too many builders today are too anxious to replicate the same type of car build after build and not think outside of the box now and then. Thanks for sharing your originality with us.

  12. I forgot to mention that I also like your choice of license plate.I simply figured you were a fan of '70's British rock music like I am.
  13. Absolutely Gorgeous!!
  14. Many of the speedsters of the 1920's were a mashup of leftover pieces and parts from cars literally left along country roads were abandoned by their owners when they could not afford to repair them during the great depression.Local guys would tow them home and cherry pick the salvageable parts to build speedsters. That naturally lead to racing those cars with the winner often times determined by whose car ran the longest.
  15. I like this.Except for seat this seems to all be AMT kit based just like the the real speedsters built in the 1920's.Thanks fir sharing.
  16. Looking good, thanks for the photos Aaron.
  17. I would like to see n overhead photo of your truck as I am concerned that the rear fenders are not the same width as the front set.IMHO they should be the same to look correct.
  18. Great street rod.Is that a photo etched grille?

  21. The Ford model with the solid window frames that are on the doors and crank up Windows is a Cabriolet(cab-re-o-lay).There are plenty of pictures on line for project research if needed.Good luck. This should be fun to watch!
  22. Nice work brother builder. That sedan '54 delivery kit is so bad that cutting it up is the best thing you can do with it.You shoebox custom has great proportions and just the right amount of custom features for the perfect custom machine.Your body work Is flawlessly executed with invisible seams. Thanks for sharing!
  23. I'm using my 1,000 th post to say THANK YOU to everyone involved with starting, maintaining and posting this wonderful series of forums! This is a very positive part of the hobby we all have in common.Congratulations to everyone involved.
  24. Bill, thanks to your posting of Rick Hoving's DIY Duval windshield frame I finally figured out how to proceed with designing my own version. The multiple compound curves involved including the shape of the cowl dictated designing it one side at a time then using that first side as a pattern for the other half.I now have a very rakish laid back windshield for my 1920 Olds speedster project. Thanks for the help!
