  1. Very nice work here. I owned a real '48 for about 20 years before passing it along to our oldest grandson. It still draws a lot of attention when driven. Your attention to details like the throttle linkage and the excellent woodgraining certainly ad a ton of interest. Replacing the kit side trim with half round stock was an excellent decision. I will be watching as this develops.
  2. Thanks for posting all those great dead-on side shots in high res. Graceful ans simply gorgeous cars.
  3. I do not have the skills to post photos to the forums but I will gladly send photos if you will message me your email address
  4. Problem solved,I'm scratch building my own lattice from .020" Evergreen strips. Takes a little time but looks very realistic.
  5. Good old curiosity made me click on something that had over 1,000 views and zero replies.
  6. No photos here.
  7. I notice that '50's Caddy convertible parked off to one side. What is that?
  8. Have you posted all six of your hover craft any where yet??
  9. This is going to sound really stupid here, but what does BRBO stand for. I googled it and a I found was "beach rentals by owner". You guessed it....I'm big rig ignorant:).
  10. Spoiler alert.....this is not in English.
  11. Holy purple plastic Batman....it's the Druid princess!
  12. Looks like a lot of power to move an aluminum ladder:)
  13. PM me your email address and I'll send you some pix of it.
  14. I have an unfinished Anglia coupe(yes I said coupe) street rod project I let stall a few years ago. I removed the front fenders and added '34 Ford 3 window body sections from the A pillar back to "coupe-Ify" it. Suspension was swapped in from a funny car and a zero visibility hood scoop lives on the hood. I really should finish that one!
  15. already looking orward to seeing it develop.
  16. Those one tonner pix are real world grunge for sure. No sneaking up on anyone with those chains! No one builds any this type of detail into their model trucks that I have ever seen.
  17. The solid rear tires on heavy duty wheels are a very appropriate detail. Outstanding all around.
  18. Outstanding work and photos. Congrats on an excellent build!
  19. Thanks Admin for clearing that little glitch for me. You are all on your "A" game for sure!
  20. Replicas and miniatures(Norm Veber) of Maryland. The best single source for vintage hot rod parts IMHO. All of his stuff is super accurate resin cast and flash free.
  21. Nice to see someone take the '41 Willys down a path seldom taken by modelers. That being to street rod it instead of another nose bleed high gasser.
  22. Thanks Dave.I found their stock number 3572 on-line. Is that what you use? the size is listed as 2.5" x .85" and is sold in packages of (3).
  23. Thanks Dave. Not many shops like that here in mid-nowhere,plus Doll house stuff on-line is stupidly expensive.
