    The AMT kit is a 1966 Fairlane hardtop. 67 has same body. The grille, taillights, trim and interior are different. Dennis

    Excellent build!! A friend of mine owned a Customized one back in the mid 80's. 5" chop and custom paint & interior. I drove it to car shows all over the Midwest one summer while I was finishing my Mercury. Dennis

    I usually just mix gold and silver paint till it looks reasonable in color to the carb I'm trying to reproduce. Dennis

    Tulio, looks great for what you had to start with and how fragile it was!! Maybe in it's history it sat in a window shelf or where it got a lot of sun and made the plastic brittle. Dennis
