I had originally gotten the kit to build as a convertible. However, I quickly learned that Reliable Resin isn't exactly reliable, but more like a scam. So I built it the way I wanted to build my other one the first time around. The 68 Firebird was one of the first kits I ever bought. It does have some cool stuff. When I saw the kit I really didn't think about building it any other way. I normally build stock versions of my cars, but I thought that the cop version was just too cool not to build.

There were several cars like that. Mostly Pontiacs you kept seeing, but I think there was also at least one Impala that kept popping up too. The model looks amazing.
