  1. Theres also a very affordable box set on amazon. I believe its made by Truckerflix.com, which also puts the old trucker movies on dvd. Theyre bounced from VHS tho, so no remaster quality. Still not bad.
  2. Great progress. Do you have a paint scheme in mind?
  3. Heres a link with a bunch of pics of this type of wrecker. http://tow411.yuku.com/topic/58740/Big-Stick-Wreckers?=1 Me personally, have never liked the funky towbar from the kit. I usually convert it to this style
  4. I have used the Archer HO guage rivets to replace the rivets on the Pete 352. I couldnt be happier. The sheet has differently spaced rows, so its easy to replicate the particular pattern.
  5. I got the final pieces on the chassis. The drive shafts, air lines, mud flap mounts, and interior tub.Final sanding completed, I got some color on the chassis.
  6. Started getting some color on the cabover.
  7. Italeri made a container trailer kit. I dont know how far off the chassis would be from what your looking to build, but its not a bad kit.
  8. Wow! I have never seen anything like this before! Is this all scratchbuilt?
  9. Im sure youll find your tanks, but if not let me know. I have plenty of DR kits, and I also cast a few tanks. I can hook you up. This truck would look cool with some square tanks, just my $0.02.
  10. Has anyone seen the new incarnation of Thin Lizzy? Such a joke
  11. The trailer looks just like the box. Great job Tom.
  12. Sam heres a link to one that was for sale. Theres a ton of reference pics. I would swap out the rears from the Paystar and sand off the "IH". http://www.purplewave.com/cgi-bin/mnlist.cgi?120628/B6785
  13. I modified and installed a PTO from a diecast truck and a pillow block bearing. Heres a shot of the gear and offset shaft mounted under the winch cradle in two pillow blocks. Thix will be connected by chain to the shaft under the truck. Construction on the jeep is done except for brakes. I robbed a set of landing gear grom the Italeri dump trailer. I was going to scratch a set, but time is crunching.
  14. I rescored the panel lines on the cab and applied the micro mark rivets. Its ready for paint.
  15. Small update: I made a specialized bender to make my exhaust. I tested it out on the first set for the Brockway. Its not perfect, but the bender worked ok. Im going to remake the driver side pipe. Im not sure if I want to keep the curved tips or go with straights. I dremeled out the grill to put in some PE mesh. More to come
  16. I dont know who the people were, but there are idiots everywhere. Please get him to come back. Im digging some stuff up for him. Id hate for him to give it up when it gives so many of us happiness. I sit at the table almost every night working on a model with my little girl right next to me coloring or working on her own little car. It infuriates me that someone gave him grief.
  17. Another excellent build. I especially like this one because of the vintage(cab, and when it was originally built). Great job
  18. My name is taken from an old school monster truck called SuperPete. When I first saw it back in the 80s, I thought it was the coolest thing. My avatar is the door sign from one of my models.
  19. People that dont know how to use ebay. Specifically, the messaging. This is the 3rd time Ive had someone ask a question, or make a request in the feedback line. This guy bought one rebuilder truck from me and paid immediatley. He bought two more resin cabs from me 3 days later. I saw that he was the bidder, so I held the first item in case he won all 3, Id combine them and save him some money. Well he didnt pay for the other two for 16 days, and when he does he leaves feedback for the first thing when I havent sent it yet. The positive feedback says "lookin for more resin cabs and chassis".??????????!!!!!!!!!????? Dude! Send me a message!!! I dont understand the world anymore.
