..A couple touches with a fine point marker for bugs on the windshield.. A toothpick and some dabs of yellow for that grasshopper, white for ..you know..
I run my booth fan for several minutes prior to painting. I also have a spray bottle of water and spray a light mist over all the booth surfaces before painting. Keeps the Dust Bunnies away.
I've hand-brushed Future on car bodies and it's never taken more than a day to dry.. I'm with the idea that it's reacting with the base / color coats gassing out under it.

'Bout 4. I do have maybe a dozen more that I hit a major snag with or just lost interest in, dating back to the '90s.. I do pull one out and get the fever again occasionally but they are Hangar Queens for right now.
Go to Michael's and look for some imitation gold leaf. There are ones in red, green, and "verigated". Using Alieen's Tacky Glue, apply the leaf over the aluminum in the design you want. Let dry. Then brush a few coats of Future over it.
..You're right Dan, a .45 might not be big enuff for that old boat. Somebody call Fort Sill and have them bring over a Abrams and a few rounds.. That oughta do 'er.
