  1. -Spraybomb, bugbomb, rattle can, etc..
  2. ..A couple touches with a fine point marker for bugs on the windshield.. A toothpick and some dabs of yellow for that grasshopper, white for ..you know..
  3. LARP? Is this some kind of cosplay/role playing group?
  4. Just a wild guess.. maybe Auntie's ride from Mad Max, Beyond Thunderdome? edit.. naw, hers had a jet engine..
  5. Let me just toss in that it'd be great to have a resin Pinto/VW engine transaxle available. Lots of sandrails, street buggies, kit cars used these.
  6. I'd drive it, but I think my legs are too long.
  7. Paging Jimmy Flintstone, please pick up the green phone... I'd pay thirty bucks for it. -Long as the material it's made of takes paint well.
  8. I don't tend to be real A.R. about it, but it does look better than the "hair-part" Ace mentioned.
  9. One of the car model mags had these back in the 90's. Anyone remember which one it was?
  10. ..Echoing JB Welda, Is there any way to get info on the Fatkidd jig without joining Facebook? Da Doc don't do social apps.
  11. I run my booth fan for several minutes prior to painting. I also have a spray bottle of water and spray a light mist over all the booth surfaces before painting. Keeps the Dust Bunnies away.
  12. I like the ShamWows I get at the dollar store.
  13. I've hand-brushed Future on car bodies and it's never taken more than a day to dry.. I'm with the idea that it's reacting with the base / color coats gassing out under it.
  14. Next, an old Shockwave kit with F-102 Delta Wings? It's B.A. Terry, me like.
  15. Hi all, Saw mention of this tool in the forum, Bing'd it and can only find a Facebook reference. I refuse to have Facebook, so... Any way to contact Fatkidd? Thankee.
  16. 'Bout 4. I do have maybe a dozen more that I hit a major snag with or just lost interest in, dating back to the '90s.. I do pull one out and get the fever again occasionally but they are Hangar Queens for right now.
  17. Tom, ya did the work, we all get the benefit. Good 'onya.
  18. Go to Michael's and look for some imitation gold leaf. There are ones in red, green, and "verigated". Using Alieen's Tacky Glue, apply the leaf over the aluminum in the design you want. Let dry. Then brush a few coats of Future over it.
  19. Maybe it could be buried butt-up along I-40 like all those Caddies further West?
  20. ..You're right Dan, a .45 might not be big enuff for that old boat. Somebody call Fort Sill and have them bring over a Abrams and a few rounds.. That oughta do 'er.
  21. Is the bug's backside clear plastic? We can go from there..
  22. ...I'll be happy to send a .45 round to the owner to put that zombie rustbucket out of it's misery..
  23. ..And a big T-Square is your friend. Get a metal one and a scoring knife and go to town
