For sure. I got mine in april i think. i probably over paid for the AMT version, but i got the model king at a "fair" price. i wanted to pick up another one because i am enjoying this build so much, and found the prices are much higher right now than just 2 months ago. i am just going to be patient and keep an eye out. the cheapest one right now, is still like 50 dollars more than what i paid

i have it in the original amt and the model king version. both of them had warping. unfortunately for me, i had cut out the X on the bed before gluing in the tailgate piece. i had to line it up manually. when i started on the model king, i still havent cut the X out. im waiting until its basically done both of them have really warped back tops. i am going to need to glue them in place.

I got the shipping notification for the bronco last night for my shipment from england. it says the following: estimated pickup: 3/6/2021 estimated delivery: 8/6/2021 i was like, why are they filling in such ridiculous time estimates. 5 months to ship...then i was like, wait, shipping in march??? this morning it hit me.... its england, they flip the month and day. man i felt so dumb. i told my wife and as i was telling her the story, she stopped me and said they flip the month and day. she knew it right away

My wifes uncle died. His family and my wifes family is estranged. however, in a time like this they should have put aside their differences, but they wont They didn't even call my mother in law to tell her that her brother died. She found out from her daughter, who happened to see it on a Facebook post. I thought it was odd they didn't come to our wedding but this is bigger. .. its her brothers death

I had sprayed Vallejo on an interior and left it overnight. i had put some masking tape on it to spray something else, and it pulled the paint right off. I spent about 10.minutes total just pulling the rest off and starting over with a different brand. sad part is, i had bought the full military set and have like 75 or some odd number of bottles from when i first started to do military models. Now I use lifecolor instead. More expensive but much better I will sometimes use the Vallejo for small spots and only if im done with the section where i dont need to touch it at all

i actually saw one that made me chuckle for a second. it was for car insurance. i think farmers. it said if you want savings, just phone it it. and it showed someone painting their house and he said something like. "im phoning it in", and then proceeded to just throw the paint straight from the bucket into the door. i rarely laugh at things on the tv anymore, but i thought that was good. i rewind the commercial and watched it again, but it wasnt as funny the second time. im sure after i have seen it 900 times, i will hate it like the rest

I got an actual nude ad. its labeled as bad wedding dress, but it is a picture of a woman wearing just a see through vail from her waste up in plain view, no obstructions. these are starting to show up in europe now. i found a place that had it that was willing to ship to the usa. shipping was quite expensive, but honestly the buggy has been my unicorn kit for so long, it was worth it to me. i think it should arrive sometime next week, maybe the week after. i just hope it doesnt get caught up in customs forever. last time i ordered something overseas it took 2 weeks in customs. Eventually, i suspect i will buy 4 or 5 of them total. maybe make a buggy racetrack Actually, i had one package that i ordered over seas last year that took 6 weeks because i didnt verify they were using air shipment, and it was shipped in the slowest boat available to man. i think it might have been a rowboat.

meh, interior paint still smells like paint. i have never used this brand of paint before. i dont think i will use it again. the tamiya paint is much nicer. i think going forward, i will stick with that. i had to touch up a couple more spots this morning. its like the paint didnt grab onto the primer right. i used tamiya primer, which in the past has worked with all kinds of paint.

this is just a concept, but im very excited about it. im finishing up the bronco kit and im already thinking about this kit. the plan is to build the ford courier kit as K-9 truck from police academy 2. i know its not the exact model year, and i wont be able to build it exactly, the same, but the concept will be the same. The ridiculous looking cage in the bed, and the big dog in the cab with the driver. the car will be beat up looking too. this will be my first beater build. i typically try to make my trucks look nice. attached is the picture from the movie. i already bought some decals from ebay that say k-9. they arent exact to these, but the pictures attached from the movie are the concept, and it wont be an exact replica. just a concept to build off of with materials i can find

i moved a couple of years ago and moved 9 models. i taped a model tightly with masking tape to the acrylic display case and put the display case in the box. however, i had put the boxes with the models aside and moved them myself very carefully. i was only moving across town, so i made a special trip for just them to make sure they werent mixed in and damaged. i think i had a couple that still dropped the mirrors, but they were contained in the box, so it wasnt bad. there were none that were destroyed. it looks like your trip is much longer than ours, so probably you wouldnt be able to make a special trip for them.

I was able to touch up the spots. Looks ok now. Tomorrow I will detail the interior. Almost done

i sprayed the interior with AK interactive bone color. it looks good as far as the color, but i had odd interaction with the paint. there was random spots that didnt take on the paint. once it dries i will give it another coat. i have never seen this before with any paints. i hope it dont have to strip it and spray it with a different paint. i really like the color

just released. in fact, i didnt think it would be available yet. i found it on ebay. says 2021 on the manual

there are 2 sets of wheels. in the chrome, there is another set on the bottom right, on the opposite side of the bag. they were a second tiny sprue. i will take a picture of those in a minute. Edit: here is the 2nd wheels And the close up of the wheels from the main sprue to see them side by side
