  1. if made,,, i would more than likely at the very least buy at least 2 of each. I never in my life would have thought the Grumpy Vega would comeback,,, so anything is possible here...
  2. hoping a hardtop version of this kit comes,,, and i will chime in and say that it would be nice if they brought out a 71/72 Road Runner-GTX kit as mentioned earlier in this thread line. The Bee convert kit has 2 different grilles and the R.R. kit could do something similar of having both grille options.
  3. Looks like a Johan GTX. Hard to find these nowadays...
  4. So close to what Rambler factory colors were. Looks great as a circle track car, Kool Beans...
  5. nice work you got going on there Sir
  6. Burnaby in British Columbia ?
  7. Quite interesting to see a big block ford in a chevy
  8. Sign me up for half a Dozen !
  9. Hot Damn, i am in Love with the post car...
  10. Great subject story, fab work and color, but they would never ever put a single exhaust on something with as large of exhaust ports as the Hemi had, which is a race engine in disguise.
  11. i like where this is going, im doing a similar build, Modern Hemi powered.
  12. i have always loved the look of these cars in Pro-Tour form. Awesome rendition you put together...
  13. Thats a Dart not a Duster. Awesome job on the rebuild...
  14. i like the idea of street or race version, its an additional sales feature. Personally love the poverty caps. Friend of mine had a Hemi 66 Belvedere 1 post car back in the 80's and 90's which i would love to buy in model kit form,,, but hey i know ye'all cant produce every car. Im assuming the body for this proposed kit was 3D scanned from a real car ? I'm asking for a friend...
  15. Nicelly done so far. Its kinda funny but a friend of mine has the same truck in the same medium blue color. Has a a built 514 in it and has run 9.2 in testing on that engine. I will have to find some pics. Montney is pretty high up there in B.C. brother...
  16. i like where this if going. I have been searching for a 1964 / 65 myself as a project and they don't come up cheap.
  17. i haven't watched pro-stock or any drags for that matter since the mid 90's because the cars got ugly and appear nothing like stock or factory.
  18. If its not to late i would like to throw my hat,,, errr,,, "Kit" into the ring. I bought it the first week of October not sure if it would arrive in time and just arrived at the Post Office today. If ending time is March 15 i think it gives me enuff time to put this together. Replicating a car i built back in late 1979 as a young teen of 15. I had entered it into my first model car contest. Rule was you had to buy the kit from the hobby shop, 3 classes were offered and i choose box stock. I ended up winning best paint and i vividly recall all the others being so surprised a young kid could paint so good. Mind you with the help of my father i had already bought and owned a 1970 Vega by that time and had completed the body restoration on it and was finishing building a 350 for it, so i had some auto building experience's already...
  19. Your build looks good, don't bother with the nitpicking trolls...
  20. V6 didn't come along until 1987, and was pretty much an underpowered dog, haaa. That lump of plastic you have is their febble attempt at a small block mopar, the biggest being a 360. Back in 1983 someone had posted for sale a 440 six-pak swapped black Dart Sport for sale at $3,900 and I wanted that car pretty bad, but I had no $$$ then. Inspired me to build my own 75-440Duster in 1987. Was a pretty potent street sleeper.
  21. Yup, I like it. I need to find a kit of a 73 to 75 Duster for myself, owned a few of these cars back in the day and made for great cruisers, especially on one where I had swapped a 440 into...
