Thanks for posting the link with all the great pictures. One of my future builds will be to duplicate the original as much as possible One of the hardest things to duplicate is the front half of a 22 Model T Touring car. From what I can find, no one has kitted a T Touring suitable. The exhaust will also be a challenge

The Little Old Lady from Pasadena song's car in my opinion was a Red 64 Super Stock Dodge 426 4 speed . Song came out in 64 and lyrics were "Brand New Shiny Red Super Stock Dodge. My version I used the Ramcharger Dodge kit but since it came as an automatic I swapped the parts I needed to convert it to a four speed from the Petty Plymouth' My next "song" build will be the Hot Rod Lincoln Another interesting build would be the Super Stock Dodge withe 413 in "Shut Down"

Need Hot Rod Tires
Jon Haigwood replied to Jon Haigwood's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Thanks I will check the above mentioned venders, I will call Norm Monday, I have a order I am going to make soon to R&M Thanks for the info -
I picked up a wheel set from R&M and now that I have measured them I don't seem to have any tires to fit them. I did not see any that size on Norms catalog (I will call him tomorrow to double check) The rear wheel OD is .817 and width is .348 and the rear OD is ,719 and width is .267. I can't remember if I have seen any after market companies that carry that Hot Rod style tires . Thanks for any information Jon

Why do you build models?
Jon Haigwood replied to Oldmopars's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
First of all I don't build for contests, I build for myself. I enjoy doing the work and the challenge of trying to improve on and improve my skills and the "next" build. I try and get each one perfect but there is always something that didn't go well. If I tried to get each one perfect they would never get finished. . -

Replicas and Miniatures
Jon Haigwood replied to Brutalform's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
My current build is Track Nose Model A, The engine is entirely Norms stuff. Flathead, Scot Blower, Ardun Heads, headers for the Ardun heads, Magneto with the "Crab" style dist., a pair of Stromberg 97's with a finned air cleaner. The interior has his seats and door handles. Used his Artillery wheels and tires and his fuel cap and his 39 Ford tail lights. Maybe I should call it "Norms A" -

There are 3 fotki pages that show some of his offerings, Some of those are not available any more, Norm told me he has discontinued the bodies and 32 ford frames due to worn molds. Order his latest price sheet it will have his current items plus some new ones not on the fotki pages. The fotki pages were put up by some of his customers and are greatly appreciated. https://public.fotki.com/crstan/replican-and-miniat/replicas-and-miniat/ https://public.fotki.com/mamaprez/model-car-aftermark/replicas--miniature/ https://public.fotki.com/IceMan555/resin-archives/replicas-miniatures/all/?fbclid=IwAR2Z3142hojqyggArtOuQxWTCsGcaY3tkUCfKpweiB93VTqsOHki81EOBnk His latest price sheet RMCM-2019-Price-List-New-Releases-Order-Form-1-File.pdf -

For me the Milner Coupe is almost perfect other than having a SMC in it. I like the attitude -
The Perfect Deuce
Jon Haigwood replied to Snake45's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
For me it has to have that "wow" factor and not look like every other Deuce out there The Black 5 window in the original post is cool but I see the same thing everywhere. The Green Roadster while not yet perfect for me does draw my eye to it as something built with some individual taste -
The Perfect Deuce
Jon Haigwood replied to Snake45's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
What would be on your list of requirements to define the "Perfect Deuce" ? My list: #1 Ford or Hemi motor #2 If it is a Highboy it must be chopped #3 No "mail slot chops #4 Big and little's and no rubber band tires (tires need to have some meat on them) and none of those skinny drag style front wheels #5 No race cars (that would fall under the "Perfect Drag Car" category) #6 Mildly customized That is my top 6 (for now) Whats yours ? -
White headers, when started and why?
Jon Haigwood replied to Speedfreak's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Going to the intake side, I was told that painting aluminum intake manifold should not be done as it interferes with the cooling process. -
Anybody have any experience with a Senco ? I picked this one up at Goodwill today for $40 seems to run great ,1/2 hp with 1.4 cfm
