For me the Milner Coupe is almost perfect other than having a SMC in it. I like the attitude -

For me it has to have that "wow" factor and not look like every other Deuce out there The Black 5 window in the original post is cool but I see the same thing everywhere. The Green Roadster while not yet perfect for me does draw my eye to it as something built with some individual taste -
The Perfect Deuce

What would be on your list of requirements to define the "Perfect Deuce" ? My list: #1 Ford or Hemi motor #2 If it is a Highboy it must be chopped #3 No "mail slot chops #4 Big and little's and no rubber band tires (tires need to have some meat on them) and none of those skinny drag style front wheels #5 No race cars (that would fall under the "Perfect Drag Car" category) #6 Mildly customized That is my top 6 (for now) Whats yours ? -

Going to the intake side, I was told that painting aluminum intake manifold should not be done as it interferes with the cooling process. -

32 Roadster sectioning ?
Jon Haigwood replied to Jon Haigwood's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I found this article thought I might try and do it on a model. Using 1/2 round for a new fender arch may be easier than how it was done in the article. . https://www.hotrod.com/articles/0601rc-1932-ford-body-section/ -

I am currently in the process of building some A's and Deuces in various configurations. Thinking about a slick looking sectioned highboy. -

I have been pondering on having a Copper or Gold finish on the chrome parts of a deuce build . I would like it to have the chrome look but be in copper or gold on the windshield, wheels and all the parts that are normally chrome. Most parts will be chrome to start with but some will be bare plastic (windshield frame). Maybe some type of transparent paint over the chrome ? I did not find anything in a search thought I would ask the experienced for suggestions. Thanks This is what I am looking for:

Moved my question???
Jon Haigwood replied to RichCostello's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
My truck was just totaled (while it was parked) by a drunk driver) and I have been on the phone with two insurance companies, the last one for an hour. So EXCUSE ME for not missing the joke, and as a side note it was not a "Joke" it was "sarcasm" -

Thanks for all the information and links to past posts. I have known Harold Perry for a few years now and consider him a friend. Unfortunately he lives a ways away from me and only occasionally see each other in person. When I decide to do the build I will pick his brain and with what you guys have given me hopefully it will be half as nice. Thanks Again
