  1. I have read that after you mask it spray another coat of the lighter (first) color. It will help seal the edges from bleed thru. I have not tried this myself but maybe someone else has some input on this.
  2. The kit is said to be molded in silver

    68 Dart

Very nice. Great engine detail. Where did you find the screen for the carbs ?
  4. Well there is a 41 Ford Woodie maybe with some crafty modifications you could marry the front end up to a 40 Coupe ?
  5. Unless it is something I really need (want) I won't pay shipping. I can't see paying almost double for a kit I could buy local. I started a facebook page mostly just so some of the local guys could trade or buy kits/parts from other locals. But so far we just BS about model building.
  6. Any more info out about these ? Due for a June release
  7. Like to keep it to 2 or 3 but at this time I have 4 on the bench and for some crazy reason I decided to build about a dozen Mopar big block engines. Two completely for two of my projects and the rest will be just main assembly in various stages of completion and painted depending on the build plans.
  8. That is what my wife sees when she looks a mine. Actually it is only about 60
  9. Being a Ford/Mopar Guy and currently building about a dozen Mopar big block engines (sort of a assembly line process for current and future builds) I have more current and future Mopar projects that I will ever build. Not to mention about 40 1964-1973 Ford kits and about two dozen miscellaneous kits waiting in the wings. For me personally there is plenty out there. There is always someone wanting a something a little differant then the current offerings but that is where the Resin market can step in. Like the man said it is all supply and demand.
  10. Bought some Dukes of Haz there when the flag crises hit. Not to far in the distance past
  11. You CAN buy them online and have them shipped to the store for free. So there ya go
  12. So does the kit come with both the Max Wedge and the Hemi exhaust systems?
  13. I was just doing some more research and found information on the 64 Hemi exhaust just as you posted. Thanks So actually I need one of each as I am building Hemi Dodge and a Max Wedge Plymouth , (unless I change my mind and switch them around )
  14. So the Melrose Missile uses the Max Wedge Exhaust with the Hemi. Is that the correct exhaust for the Hemi or are they just using that one for performance reasons. If so what would be the correct exhaust for the Hemi in 64 ?
  15. Looking for a exhaust set up like this for a Max Wedge Mopar Thanks
  16. Great trade with afx. Stand up guy Thanks Jon
  17. I thought it was Big Red Bad Oldsmobile. Go figure
  18. I have been trying to do some research on Cross Rams. I first thought that the one I found in the 69 AMT Barracuda kit (with the extra bumps) (never figured out what the bumps were for, all the pictures shows them plugged??) were the type used on the Hemi. and the smooth ones found in the AMT Roadrunner and GTX kits were used on the Max Wedge engines After looking at a bunch of photos I discovered they were used a lot on either engine. I found other variations that seem to be aftermarket versions and nothing at all that looks like the one in the 49 Merc kit. If anybody has more info or a web site with more information I would very much like to hear it.
  19. This is the one from the 49 Merc AMT kit
  20. The one in the middle, second row looks like the one I found in the AMT 69 Barracuda as an extra Second one (right) in the third row is in my AMT Roadrunner kit.
  21. I buy mine at the Hardware store
