  1. How did this get here ? I posted it in the "general" section?
  2. I am technically challenged but can usually figure things out (eventually) but it seems every time I try and post on a thread that I have at one time "quoted" on it tries to quote again even when I do not click on the post tab. Whats up.? Didn't have this problem on the old setup.
  3. (Sorry still can't figure out this new quote thing) (suppose to be from AaronW)
  4. Except hers of course My wife drives a 2013 Dodge Caravan and we had to put a pink flying pig antenna topper on it so we can find it in the parking lot
  5. The top car is a 57 Chevy Nomad, The bottom cars is the iconic "Spandex wearing, Latte Drinking, Bike Riding, Standard Issue, New Age Dilrods" piece of "Stamped Out, Poly-coated, Plain as a Rock, Drives like a Tin Can, Lost in the Parking Lot, Looks like everything else" automobile.

  7. Did that start with the Shelby Dodge Charger in 83 ?
  8. Best thing they could do would be to put a fish and a Barracuda emblem on a Challenger (and maybe a BIG back window) And they could put Roadrunner badgeing on a Dart
  9. I see a few dark green Flatties , don't recall seeing any bronze
  10. http://www.vintagethunderbirdclub.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=10463 From what I found when I Googled was that in 57 the block was red http://www.telusplanet.net/public/bboogaar/ Bronze or green for the 50/51 Ford truck
  11. From what I can see Walmart models are shipped directly from a hobby kit supplier . A Challenger kit at Walmart was $22.05, same kit at HW was $24.80
  12. I think we are seeing the conversion to if not all at least a large percent, online shopping. I don't really like this kind of purchases and paying shipping costs but it looks like its in our near future. I noticed Walmart, Lowes and Home Depot and some of the other stores having a good selection of merchandise online but not stocked in the stores. I do look for free shipping to stores.
  13. They cleared them out at the Walmarts that I visit. You can buy them online and there is free shipping to store.
  14. Thanks for the info and link
  15. Is there any after market company that makes the 69 Dodge Daytona wing and nose. Need one for another future project. Thanks Jon

  18. Any idea what AMT Daytona kits came with the R/T grill and when they started putting in the split 69 grille? I have a 1990 kit with the R/T. I was going to use the wing and nose from it for another project but those parts plus the body hood were missing. I must have used them for a slot car body or something. I have been looking on ebay for a kit or body and wing and nose. If I buy the kit I want the Daytona/500 body.
  19. The (in my opinion ,your results may vary) the Charger is not a Hot Rod but a Muscle Car and the 57 is almost to new to be called a Hot Rod (almost). I like all the rest. This one I really like. In fact I have it for my wallpaper
