  1. Looks like a great start. I will be watching this build closely
  2. Lindberg did make a Snap Fit kit Back in 82 but a nice up to date kit would on the top of my list.
  3. The rear spring shackles connect by a cross bolt to the frame. similar to the drawing. Some go on brackets some go thru the frame If I get the opportunity tomorrow I will take a pic of my 66 Barracudas rear shackles
  4. "All my Kids ride Lowriders" as the song goes Needs some Dingle Bobbies hanging from the handle bars If the poor kid hit a speed bump to fast he would fill his diaper
  5. Good use for the body and stuff in my Lindberg 29 T Rod Kit. Already use the frame on another project

  8. I am technically challenged but can usually figure things out (eventually) but it seems every time I try and post on a thread that I have at one time "quoted" on it tries to quote again even when I do not click on the post tab. Whats up.? Didn't have this problem on the old setup.
  9. (Sorry still can't figure out this new quote thing) (suppose to be from AaronW)
  10. Except hers of course My wife drives a 2013 Dodge Caravan and we had to put a pink flying pig antenna topper on it so we can find it in the parking lot

  13. Did that start with the Shelby Dodge Charger in 83 ?
  14. Best thing they could do would be to put a fish and a Barracuda emblem on a Challenger (and maybe a BIG back window) And they could put Roadrunner badgeing on a Dart
  15. I see a few dark green Flatties , don't recall seeing any bronze
  16. http://www.vintagethunderbirdclub.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=10463 From what I found when I Googled was that in 57 the block was red http://www.telusplanet.net/public/bboogaar/ Bronze or green for the 50/51 Ford truck
  17. From what I can see Walmart models are shipped directly from a hobby kit supplier . A Challenger kit at Walmart was $22.05, same kit at HW was $24.80
  18. I think we are seeing the conversion to if not all at least a large percent, online shopping. I don't really like this kind of purchases and paying shipping costs but it looks like its in our near future. I noticed Walmart, Lowes and Home Depot and some of the other stores having a good selection of merchandise online but not stocked in the stores. I do look for free shipping to stores.
  19. They cleared them out at the Walmarts that I visit. You can buy them online and there is free shipping to store.
