  1. That is a straight re-pop of the original kit longbed. The only one I know of who was casting the short bed was Bandit Resins.
  2. Stopped in at the local HTU just to browse.....$51 later I have another set of the AMT Polyglas tire sets, the SA Contest issue and the new Revell ZL1 prepainted kit. I have had a mental block at the workbench and think knocking out the ZL1 and thumbing through the contest issue will give me a spark.
  3. Nice looking truck Chuck! I envisioned a black primered, top chopped rat rod build when I saw the topic !
  4. Check with The Modelhaus, Don casts some nice resin tires including the Goodyear Suburbanite Snow tires and some off road tires too.
  5. You forgot the '72 Chevy Blazer Casey!
  6. That grill is available from The Modelhaus.
  7. Hoping that someday soon he will have the long awaited Travelall and maybe even an old Cornbinder pickup (D series)! I'm really hoping that someone would come out with an old Scout, early to mid 60's era!
  8. I just checked and it is $18.00 to get into the show. Going to probably pass on going, daughter has a MCJROTC event that takes priority and won't be able to get there until mid afternoon and wouldn't be able to see the whole show.
  9. Snake, Do you know what number that Testors teal is? I have a friend that has a 67 Camaro in Tahoe Turquoise that I intend to replicate and would rather use the Testors than to get some from a paint store or MCW. TIA!
  10. Going to the car show, when is the model show? Not sure if I have any thing ready but will be checking it out.
  11. Al, Can you say where you saw that? I checked Tower Hobbies and they have it as April 2015, Mega Hobby shows it as a pre-order (no release date) and I couldn't find any thing at Modelroundup. I was hoping that the revisions wouldn't take too long and they would have this kit out soon, but who knows?
  12. Yep, makes rotating the tires a bit more difficult!
  13. Very nice looking wrecker, neat details and really like the color combo.
  14. Had those as a kid, played with them along side my Hot Wheels and Matchbox vehicles. I'd buy them if they made a comeback.
  15. I agree and these issues are why my WIP is sitting on bench!
  16. James, I understand that your court appointed attorney is probably not the best out there but work with him. Get him details and timelines, family contacts who have had run ins with your father, etc. so he can see for himself that this is not a normal person (your father) you are dealing with. If there are medical issues with your father, make sure he is aware of those as well because like Bob stated above, that could be causing some of this. Best of luck and keep us updated. Hopefully either your father fails to show and the charges are dropped or he is found to be filing false charges and the tables are turned.
  17. very nice! Where did you get the lightbar?
  18. Like their song, Don't Get Fooled Again, I bought into the hype back in 1982 about their "Farewell Tour" and figured it was my last chance to see them. Paid $30+ for the ticket (sounds cheap but was only making $4/hour so it was a days pay!) and bought a t-shirt that I didn't wear until they came around again for yet another tour. I'd like to see AC/DC and will consider it if they aren't charging HUGE $$ for tickets.
  19. Must be a big bonus check from MCM Harry!
  20. Tom, Did you get this at Wal Mart? I saw their website and they were listed as a retailer. I think Hobby Lobby also sells some of these diecast pieces, but in a smaller scale. I really like this truck, wish it was available in kit form!
  21. That is a very nice piece, I will have to check and see if it is available on this side of the country.
  22. First Gen Camaro. Growing up as teenager in the 70's, there were two brothers who lived down the street who had a '68 & '69 Camaro that were the subject of constant wrenching and engine swaps. Spent many nights helping them and learning about cars. First real job (at a car dealership) and met a couple of employees who were into first Gen Camaros as well. They had some really nice cars and from there I have been hooked. I have always had a soft spot for GM muscle cars, old trucks, and street rods but First Gen Camaros remain my favorite.
  23. Your wait is over! Danny at Scenes Unlimited has a set of wheels and tires for this kit to make a dually.
  24. I will be getting my order together this week Danny, sure hope you have lots of these in stock, I think you will sell a bunch!
  25. Nice job Randy! For a model that a lot of people picked apart, yours sure looks great. I am going to have to get busy on mine, right after I finish an AMT '67 Camaro that I was working on.
