  1. That's funny, considering your day job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. For legal reasons I don't think we will ever see that happen here or on other forums. Slander is not something you want to be a part of in a lawsuit.
  3. Well Clayton, if you are referring to Reliable Resin, this topic is as good as locked! You will be attacked by the owner of RR and the moderators here will lock this up and delete faster than the blink of an eye! Lesson learned and hopefully you will eventually get your stuff but as Jonathan posted the other links, others have not fared well.
  4. I will say it before CrazyJim does...................................That's Shiny! Very nice, black is not an easy color to paint and you did it justice.
  5. Joe- i agree that they could/should make some updates to existing kits to give us updated models but when they have to change the whole body, that is where it gets costly. To take the Revell Z-28 and make it into the Yenko required a few changes (wheels, decals, engine) and probably not a big cost versus payback. I suspect that the upcoming 77 GMC truck with the snow plow has been delayed because of the extra tooling they needed to develop.
  6. Funny story Rob, I can only imagine what the neighbors would think if you took the dog out for a walk before washing the overspray off! Enjoy the cake and your birthday too!
  7. I will have a ton of relatives in town after celebrating my childrens' graduations the day before so some help cleaning up the yard and dealing with family would be my two biggest wishes! Don't really need any more models, although if Revell would see fit to get that 50 Olds, 57 Ford or the 77 GMC pickup kit released this week............................................!
  8. I believe back in the day that AMT had a 67 Camaro Pace Car model kit and promo. A good friend of mine has a 1:1 version and also has the matching kit and promo. As always, thanks for the history lesson Art!
  9. Tom, My 2010 catalog does not show those pieces available, have you checked their online catalog to see if they have added them? www.modelhaus.com or 217-864-4402 is their number, they are in central Illinois and Don & Carol are 2 of the nicest people you will ever meet.
  10. Thank you for making your posts readable and enjoyable, I appreciate it!
  11. Nice paint job and my opinion on the BMF is that it is like the old Life cereal commercial- Try it, you'll like it!
  12. From others postings here, Badger has an excellent customer service department and they go through the airbrush before returning it to you, so if you do send it for repairs, it sounds like they are a good bunch to deal with.
  13. That is good news as my subscription has run out and finances are too tight for a renewal, so it just may be one copy at a time. It would be helpful to know when the new issues are shipped to save me from having to make multiple trips to the store until the get the magazine.
  14. Just cleaned and organized my work area because we are having a party in 2 weeks and my work area is out in the open in what is called a bonus room. I found a lot of pieces and parts in the process and hope to spend some time at the desk once the party is over. I have never had a modeling area that was open to others so I am learning to be neater! Like most everyone, I tend to get a couple (or more) kits going at the same time and end up with a mess.
  15. The Astro Van was introduced around 1985 and ran for nearly 20 years. It was very boxy and it took GM a few years to realize that FWD vans were the ones soccer moms wanted to drive, not some truck derivitive. Aoshima had an Astro van, curbside I believe, and is kinda pricy. They pop up from time to time on eBay and might be available from HLJ. The one in the first post is of a first generation Astro van, later model years had composite headlamps.
  16. Much like building a 1:1 vehicle, a model builder may have some tools and parts already on hand versus having to start from scratch. They can also use swapped parts and kits to yield the items necessary to build the vehicle without investing a big pile of money. I might add some aftermarket pieces- wheels, engine bits- or scratchbuild a few things from sheet or shape plastic but have yet to go hog wild on P/E or billet pieces. I tend to build for myself and not the contest table and that probably is why I don't spend the extra cash on a build.
  17. Where does one find LA Totally Awesome? Can't say that I have heard of that product before. Inquiring minds need to know!
  18. PM sent, check your MCM mailbox for some information.
  19. looking good so far but that fuel line looks MASSIVE !
  20. Thanks Gerry, looks like a nice mix of old and new, European and American.
  21. Not 100% sure, search his user name Kris Morgan, and it should have a link to his website or you could send him a PM and ask whatever specific questions you may have.
  22. Kris Morgan at MAD has some nice distributors, check them out, he is a member here.
  23. I drive through Indiana on my way from Charlotte to Northern Illinois. Gotta be the longest 6 hours of the trip, not to mention having the least scenery compared to Kentucky, Tennessee and NC! My employer has a facility in Indy and I have the pleasure of visiting there every October for inventory. We occasionally get out for a nice meal but for the most part we are stuck in a building so therefore I dread going to Indiana.
  24. I have had more problems with the delicate rear end of this kit than the front end. The AMT Nova and Revell Chevelle are 2 totally different kits and the only similarities are the pro street nature of them.
