  1. Beautiful Classics!
  2. I have enjoyed all of the year in review, great builds to see again and for some the first time. I have tried also to respond to as many as I can, and always enjoy the responses received. Perhaps a new "Harsh, Contentious, Condemning and Confrontational Comments" thread is in order!
  3. Casey's list makes the most since, and perhaps the Tag feature could be used for the scale as well.
  4. Just a little mock up with the 427 and I believe some Camaro seats and console. If you notice I glued up the body completely. So in order to fit the interior I cut a section out of the back to allow the tub to squeeze in place. That allows me to do all the body work and paint before final assembly. I will say it is tight but fits nicely. I'll try something with those door panels next.
  5. What are your projects for the up coming year? I hope to complete these and also a 56 Chevy Long Roof and perhaps the 60 Chevy El Camino... No particular order and not set in stone, guess we'll see what happens!
  6. "I seriously need to find the trick to bend time in my favour. Ever since I found a job, I lost the time to spend with my hobby's. After workinghours, I have to deal with wife and 2 young kids, go to the bathroom, take a shower, make dinner and deal with kids and wife in the evening again. Short after the oldest goes to bed, I watch a movie and have to go to bed, before the whole sharade repeats. I just had a 2 week vacation, so nice, and was able to finish my goal; finish at least one model. Which I finished just a few hours ago, on the last day of my vacation. It all starts monday again. " Seriously? You think what I said is harsh! Maybe I am missing something?
  7. Thanks Blair, and it is. I shortened it and reshaped the ends some. Not sure if I like it yet, might be to much bumper...
  8. If this is how you truly see it, you don't deserve to enjoy a Hobby!
  9. Thanks guys, and yes they are Carl...
  10. No resolutions but: I have found revitalization in building for myself. I was burned out building for shows and detailing things as if it were going to a museum or something. My goal is to keep it simple and have fun!
  11. Thought I'd start the new calender year with a WIP, this the AMT Texaco 3100 pick up kit. So far I've: Shortened the bed 6 scale inches, smoothed the body and removed all hardware, re-skinned the tailgate, added an Olds front bumper, swapped the headlights and set it on some nice Caddy wheels and white wall tires. The real change will be the chassis, it will have running/rolling gear from a "67" Corvette.
  12. Great looking woodland chariot!
  13. Thanks Guys, looking forward to all the creativity this coming year...
