    Blue Model A

My first attempt at this kit. Pretty simple build, just kept it simple and only went to the parts box for a few things. I did drill the visor and open the trunk up. I wanted to be plain and balanced with chrome. Kind of a lower budget build theme with an unfinished interior. Tamyia Clear Blue over Light Gun Metal and a mix of Gloss, Satin and Flat black. My Molotow Chrome pen came in very handy when it came time for touch up. Also made another roof panel from sheet styrene, added some masking tape and paint for a canvas top. I still need to add a couple things to call it finished but I consider it done... THANKS FOR LOOKING

  15. Going back to the subject at hand! Nice looking model. I like the weathering and the small details. I would like to know how you did the dash?

  18. Thanks Carl. Nothing glued in place yet but I think I have things figure out.
  19. Thanks guys, I have run into a few things. 1. Buy mixing build "A" and "B" parts there are some fitment issues. The blower belt hits the front cross member when installed at the trans location. Moving it back to clear that point, the firewall now interferes. Both problems can be fixed pretty easily. I did adjust the engine set back already, next I believe I'm going to file the FW done so as to move it back into the body some. 2. Trying to keep a balance between Black and Chrome is somewhat challenging. I press on...
