  1. Fade Paint it is, base colors applied. Color to follow! Wait for it...
  2. Do you buy it in gal cans too?
  3. Ok with red or yellow plastic I've learned to use a good sealer to prevent bleed through. I use Tamiya spray paint, primer and finish primarily. With that in mind, What would be the best primer sealer to use? What has been your experience?
  4. Outstanding
  5. This is possibly the coolest project I've seen in awhile. Very cool!
  6. Thanks Pat it's as if I were there. Wait I was there!
  7. Thanks everyone!
  8. Great imagineering !
  9. Thanks everyone. The exterior is a mix of Gunmetal and Clear Red. The interior is a mix I made to match the Fuzzy Fur. I used flat clear on the tub.
  10. It was February last time I worked on this.I have been trying to clean out the un-finished kits I have, and I have just finished this. Questions and comments welcome...
  11. Looking good!
  12. Well I have been feeling much better and have found myself with more bench time lately, so! As if the 53 Ford Custom wasn't enough I have been fiddling with the Bubble as well. Still smoothing out the body. Have made some progress with the interior and fitting the fenders. Unfortunately I managed to loose some of the Bandit parts for the hinges. Necessity being the mother of invention, we'll see what comes of it... Here is a peek as it sits...
  13. Always fun to watch how these projects progress. As far as power, what about the experimental OHC Hemi's that came in one of the older Roadrunner kits. (I think)
  14. The amount of custom work on this type of project can be challenging for sure. Nearly if not every part so far has been modified in some way. But I will press on. I will revisit the paint scheme later but for now some more progress in the engine bay. I think the power plant from a Revell 69 Mustang Mach 1 should do nicely.
  15. Outstanding!
  16. Dave you should plan now to go with me! I think I see what you guys mean about the fade or maybe one color paint, thanks.
  17. I hope to be there, I've missed the last two. I will bring it and a couple others if I can. Thanks!
  18. I really need to finish the body work and fit the rear window. I have the chassis close and I could start painting soon. It will be similar to this,
  19. Thanks. You and Larry too Eric.
  20. Ever since June when I broke my Clavicle, I have not had any desire to work on models. But this weekend I went to the Shenango Valley Model Contest and the MoJo started flowing a little bit. My plan is to creep up on it and try to finish something I started. We will see! I made an inside lip for the hood and also made the hinge tonight.
  21. Interesting
  22. I like it just fine.Your attention to detail and weathering brings this kit to life and adds alot of character. I especially like how the rusty chrome looks. Well Done.
  23. Body work can certainly test your patience...
