Yeah, it is a shop rag. I like the little details that catch the eye. I have another kit so I can work on the grill and tail section. But I'm gonna let it set for a while. Thanks for all the interest.
Revell Special Edition kit, lots of parts box pieces, 30 months and a lot of patience.
Im not happy with the grill and will most likely change it. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.
Hey Bill, any updates? I was telling a friend a few weeks ago about your build and how I wanted to try the chop myself. Well last night he gave me a Revell 40 Ford kit and said go for it! I will be starting it soon...
Thanks guys! I realy enjoy working on these old models. This one was in pretty good shape, never painted and never glued either. The wheels are Pagesus #2303 Phat Daddy's and until I saw it in primer I had no idea on color. Im now thinking Light Gunmetal with a red interior as mentioned. I guess we'll see...
Another Craftsman Series I purchased. After I disassembled I repaired the C pillars and started smoothing things out. The plastic is very brittle so I'm taking care not to crack anything else.
