  1. Have you seen the diorama's thread?
  2. Here's a couple more with brighter, better resolution pictures of the garage. I think I have the positioning OK. Now I have to make a floorboard which matches the color and texture of my driveway.
  3. Thanks Charlie, I'll attend to them. However I was referring to the door vent windows sticking out like Mickey Mouse ears.
  4. How did this happen?
  5. I read them all and have pre-ordrerd the next one. As I read the books, a young Clint Eastwood kept coming to mind. I looked up Schrieber, and I think he'd fit the character. I didn't know him.
  6. Actually thought about doing that, but permission was denied.
  7. Wow! This sure is a lot of info. Thanks, guys.
  8. There. Enough work for today. Next a bicycle ride then some bench time.
  9. A while back, I bought a mini lathe and put it on a small 48x30 folding table. It turns out my wife wants that table so I looked around for stuff to make one. This spring we changed our kitchen cabinets and we had a couple of boxes left over. So I cut one down to make it desk height and made a table frame out of 2x4s. I'll deck it with some MDF that's been hanging around the garage forever.
  10. Started on the final assembly.
  11. Found it. I t is a Riley two port head.
  12. I saw this in a junkyard lot on eBay. It looks vaguely familiar. At first I thought it was a Frontenac head on a T or A, but it isn't, at least according to the reference photos I could find.
  13. Thanks Nick & Stephen, and thanks greg for clarifying the windshield question. I had forgotten about it. Clearcoated the body with Pledge. Not as glossy as Tulio's work but it'll have to do. I wonder if you can buff that stuff once it hardens.
  14. Very, very classy!
  15. My wife had one with a six. I bet yours would boogie. Nice work.
  16. Worked on the interior. And yes there will be touch ups. Even if I pretended not to shake, it looks like I did.
  17. Working on the engine bay. I painstakingly hand painted the black then went to the web to look at reference photos for the wiring, etc. only to discover the engine bay should be body color. Ah well, blame it on the restorer. I also found the distributor in the vise.
  18. Try the Early Ford V8 club. You'll have photos of stock, unmodified cars there.
  19. Doug is right. They removed a bunch from the computer today. Nothing to do with the fund raiser.
  20. Does this mean that the calendar thing is off?
  21. I didn't get one of the above but there is something going on with my computer. A whole raft of file icons have turned orange and the confuser Doctor I took it to said it looks like one of the "hijack" viruses. We 'll know more later today.
  22. Harry's quote stayed there after I posted. Any way, I am currently fighting with the exhaust.
  23. Yes, I had to give them my email, my postal code, my street address.
  24. Thanks Harry. Except I lost the distributor. I had prepared it with phone wire boots and all. So I cut all my 30ga wires and will be using one of the pre-wired I bought.
