In a fight with Sonny Liston, when he was still Cassius Clay, Liston swung a massive punch which Clay dodged (danced like a butterfly). Liston dislocated his shouder with that punch. Many believed it would have been an instant knockout, maybe worse.

His career might have been shorter had the punch that dislocated Sonny Liston's shoulder connected instead of hitting air. I think he dodged a killer that time. '67 or so.

Dry fitted the kit's suspension to measure the width of tread and ride height. Mocked up the resin suspension to check the difference. Enormous. Much mods will be required to keep the wheels within the fenders and the ride height reasonable. -

Completed the 283. Made a transfer case sifter and a 4 speed shifter. I guess I'll have to change the tranny on the 454. -

Body work is coming along. Having a bit of difficulty making that seam disappear. Started on the interior. Built the 283 anyway. It'll go in the engine display. A few touch ups and a fuel line and she's pretty well done. There is no fuel pump. I'll have to cobble one. -
If you could only choose ONE photo of any of your builds, wich would it be?

Mike, please describe the engine. It looks ferocious.

Wow. Nice and crisp. I had that picture in my potential things to build but it'll never be this nice. Beautiful work.

Something I've never seen or even heard of, a 1970 Bonneville that you can buils either as a convertible or an El Camino type pickup. The photo of the kit is in my camera which is in the truck, which is in the parking lot 4 floors below and I'm not going back down tonight. Maybe tomorrow.

I seem to remember the eBay listing said 66 Thunderbirds. I put the stanchions on my engine display stand but I can't get the "rope" to drape right. I'll have to try something else.Wow, that was an ordeal, it took three tries to get photobucket to uplaod it without jamming.

Mine will likely be a '57 Ford. I plan to redo mine as a wagon. I'd use the back for this.
