  1. Added hydraulic fluid lines to the main jib & started on the secondary jib.
  2. A trio of Paystars and a Transtar. A few resin cabs.
  3. Made up the U-bolts for the mounting blocks. Positioned the base on the frame to make sure there will be a spot for everything without interference. Right behind the front springs' rear mount looks like it will work. Added the swing cylinders. Tried out my new PE scissors. They are more than worth the expense. Installed the outrigger locking levers. Installed the valve block & lever banks after drilling for the hoses. Started on the outriggers. This kit is very detailed and an absolute delight to build.
  4. Started assembling the base and outriggers of the crane to get locations for gas tank, battery box, etc.
  5. Spaulding trading & shipping. www.stsmodeltrucks.com. sts786@aol.com
  6. Today. An International R190. I have a Transtar on the way to provide the base. Will have to scratchbuild the interior. Should be a fun project.
  7. This will be the site of the "shop" part of FTB. It scales out at 29 x 61 feet. Should be enough room for most if not all the tools with a bit left to display the odd WIP. Note the "modern" audio equipment.
  8. Ron, if tou aren't going to frame/keep that puzzle once you have assembled it, I might be interested.
  9. Yesterday, stuff. The expensive items were the two Spray cans and the PE scissors, totalling over $50 between the two.
  10. I noticed some members edit their title to indicate update contents and/or morphing iot into something else. How does one do that?
  11. Is there an 1:25 Indian Chief made?
  12. Not sure I understand what you mean by busting the dashboard Ken. Like a crack in it?
  13. Added a couple of lamps. Added the board to hang slings and ratchet straps. The GMC 702 will stay on display until we have a truck to put it in.
  14. Your mini reminds me of a type of vehicle I often thought I should build:
  15. In someone's driveway, licence says 32Woody. Likely, only the grille is '32. Still neat though.
  16. Won't let me quote again. Thanks Jonathan. I suppose I should have spent more time planning, but we'll get there. It is part of a fleet related to my dio. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=97646&hl=
  17. This may seem a dumb question but I have to ask: The L-700 obviously has hydraulic brakes. If I go tandem, will that require air brakes?
  18. I have an order with him for wheels. He has several suspensions but no differentials.
  19. After an epic battle with the passenger door, I needed something to calm my nerves. I dry fitted the L-700 single drive in a couple of different locations to see. I think it may not look so bad after all. I think I favor the rearmost setup.
