    In Gran style.

Beautiful just Gene. Your paint looks amazing and it looks like you really did your homework when it came to detailing the engine bay!
  2. You've done an outstanding job on this Chevy Cliff! A ton of work must have gone into creating an amazing replica that you just aren't going to see anywhere else. You did a really nice job adapting the '37 rear fenders to the body and adding the continued line from the front fenders on the doors. I love the poseable steering and the hinged hood (with 'prop rod' included!) - and these sedan deliveries certainly had a unique rear bumper. Great colours and immaculate finishes all around-as usual. I'm looking forward to seeing it in person.
  3. Superb work on your ‘vette! There really is a lot to see here. Top to bottom, I find your builds to be very inspiring. Great job and thanks for posting it!
  4. Really nice job on your Impala. Beautiful and expertly applied color choice. I also admire the accurate looking engine compartment. Is that air cleaner and 327 decal included in the kit?
  5. An outstanding build all around. LOVE the color!
  6. I love seeing unusual subjects on this forum and your BelAir certainly fits the bill! As I scrolled down through the photos, I fully expected to see a six cylinder under the hood, and there it was! Your paint finish is enviable. Great job overall!
  7. I always enjoy seeing these old Johan kits getting built. Your work on these is really nice!
  8. Your ‘34 is gorgeous Lee. It has been built with great precision and you have an eye for the important things such as stance. Your paint finish is especially nice. Is there a clear coat on it?
  9. Very, very nice job on your White Ron. You’ve really done this truck justice! I’ve been hoping for a model of this one for a very long time.
  10. I’m stunned! At first, the price shocked me a little, but when I saw how comprehensive the kit was, I understood it. I wonder if there will be more available.
  11. I really like what you’ve done with your Merc. Amazing paint work and I really like that you went with the flathead. Beautifully done overall. The AMT ‘49 Mercury is my favourite as well.

    '70 Buick GS.

You’ve done a super job on your Buick Gene. I especially like the interior. Very nice.
  13. Wow, you have to be a real enthusiast to go to the lengths you did here. It’s a true labour of love. You performed a ton of work on this build and I too was drawn to the great looking engine bay. Very nice, and different.
  14. A gorgeous, immaculate build! I much prefer the chopped windshield as you have it here.
  15. Very nicely done! I’ve heard lots of good things about this kit. Yours looks great. Your work on the engine compartment is terrific.
  16. Great work on your Impala. It looks very realistic indeed. I’m a big fan of the Cay Coral and white paint scheme. It’s beautiful and a little unexpected.
  17. The Johan Chrysler Turbine Car comes to mind. It represents a bit of a bench mark I’d say. A very ambitious undertaking by Johan for its time because of its high level of detail-and i found it to be a challenging kit to build.
  18. THAT will be a sight to behold! I hope you’ll post some photos when it’s complete Chris.
  19. Great, clean job on a seldom seen Chevy. I too like the beautifully applied colour and the wheels. The stance is also cool.
  20. This is the Jimmy Flintstone resin offering with a few parts from the Fujimi Porsche 356 kit. This was a club build that was made possible with the extreme generosity of Rob, a member of my club. I added the interior front bulkhead and side panels, the windscreen, the gauges and seatbelts. I ground down the ‘bustle back’ on the rear end to give it a more mainstream 550 Spyder look. I’m in search of some better, more accurate headlights for it. The paint is Vallejo acrylic ‘heavy red’ cleared with Model Master wet look lacquer. Thanks for looking!
  21. I took a stab at changing the AMT Duster ‘quarter’ windows a while ago. I sanded off the roof drip mouldings and filed and sanded the rear windows into a shape that I was happy with. Then I replaced the mouldings with styrene strip. This car is important enough to me to go to the trouble. I'm sure it's not perfect to everyone's eyes but I'm happy with it. I'll be building more of these kits in the future, and having seen the very helpful comparison photos posted by Bainford (thanks Trevor), I'll try to make the shape even more angular.
  22. This is a very nice looking model. By 1975, the roadrunner was a shadow of its former self, but I’m old enough to have very clear memories of these cars when they roamed the streets. Your model has a very accurate and authentic look to it. Great job on the interior too!
  23. What a great idea! I’d like to try this myself. I have the AMT phaeton kit but wasn’t sure how I was going to fix it. Now there is hope! I’ll be following this one. Thanks Dan.
  24. Another great year for you Cliff! I really enjoyed seeing your models over this past year. (In my mind I’m wondering: ‘What’s he gonna do next year?’) Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Eric
