Always thought "flatheads" were cool, but in this context, I'm not so sure.

IIRC , this '32 Ford roadster is a Pyro kit. I found the dimensions to be inaccurate to my eye, so I played with the lines to make it look slightly more acceptable. The hood seemed too short and the entire rear of the car seemed too narrow. I also rescribed the doorlines and built the frame from scratch. Tires were from the parts box, while the wheels came from an EXP.

Looking very cool! Just an idea that I was working on was to incorporate the top of the grille shell as an extension of the hood. It would make the front end look a bit longer, and eliminate the vertical line where the hood and shell meet. May not suit your taste, but you're welcome to use the idea if you want.

I'll be sure to look for this kit again! I made one into a slot car drag racer, and bits and pieces to maybe build a stock ( or mild custom) one. One of my old time favorites!

The smoke grey looks really good on your truck. It turned out good. Mind if I steal your colour choice on my next '34?

I feel your pain brother. Been through this before....my last guy was my best friend. I think of him a lot, even though it's been 7 years. They might be "pets" , but they are family. My sincere condolences to you. You'll never forget them....so in a way , they will live on in your memories.
